Detailed Reviews
Stayed there for 5 days with family (wife and toddler). The hotel itself is a very well maintained old place with interesting construction. The toilets are modern and rooms were spacious and clean, which was important given that our toddler loves to run now. And the jetty area was really nice to have breakfast at. The location is around 1.5km from fort kochi, though it's around 800 meters from the Dutch Palace. We didn't mind it, since we were comfortable taking autos (they charge 50 to 80 bucks to go to Fort kochi). The ferry station for Ernakulam is withing walking distance, and we we went there to the children's park for the toddler (he loved it). The staff was friendly and it felt fairly homely.

We were booked by friends from Cochin to stay at Water Front Granary. You need to go through narrow lanes & turns, with a feeling of being lost, but, the moment you step in the Hotel/Resort,it’s amazing place.
After normal check in procedures, you are in for great surprises.
The amazing hospitality, yummy food, beautiful view of the Sea,passing boats & ships,it’s like you are living on a Ship. The staff is all clued up,know their job,and know it well.We we’re taken on a motor boat for showing the great places of historical value and a mind blowing experience.
It’s an amazing place one can enjoy for days on and on.
Thanks to the Hosts & staff.

It was a wonderful, novel experience. Rustic items in the main room/lobby reflect their true sense of style.
Although there wasn't much variety at the restaurant, the food was really fantastic. Although there were few choices for breakfast, they were all excellent. The ratio of the cost of the food to the portion was really great too. A portion of the restaurant looks out over the Wayanad Lake, which is a serene place to sit day or night. In fact, we were there on the day of the full moon and took some incredible photos.
Their accommodations were really comfortable other from this. The rooms were a good size, with a wonderful high ceiling and capacity for three people. The restroom was tidy and well maintained.
This place is incredibly pleasant and peaceful because it is not in the major area of Fort Kochi. There is a short distance to walk or one may quickly grab a rickshaw to get there.
Even though the majority of the personnel did not speak English very well, communication was not a difficulty at all. They were incredibly kind and supported us in all of our struggles.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I wholeheartedly advise.

We went to The Museum Granary for the heritage experience and we got what we asked for. The place is currently under some renovations but we had a comfortable stay, the quick resolution of any request or complaint is much appreciated. Go here for the beautiful waterfront, the boat ride and the vintage/heritage feeling. The buffet is still not ready and the food in itself wasn't the best but even with limited staff they made an earnest effort to keep guests comfortable. I'd recommend it to anyone looking at a mid-budget heritage experience

Had been here with family for the Onam weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the stay with the scrumptious Onam meal, which I thought may not be available due to the corona restrictions.
The property has been well maintained and the Waterfront Suite give a wonderful view of the lake.
There was nothing to complain about as the staff took extreme care to see that they satisfy their guests with the vast resources they had. Special mention has to be made about the restaurant manager who was attending to guests with a calm demeanor.
Overall a good weekend getaway and we enjoyed each and every bit of our stay, would revisit the place in another week's time or so.

I would like to thank the entire team involved during the stay of my husband and his business partner. Particularly to Annie, who went the extra mile to ensure food was served at a timely manner, helping me to arrange a surprise delivery/food delivery for my husband. They had a smooth sailing stay at this hotel, with a beautiful view overseeing the ocean and nature. A little feedback that the team should take into consideration is that the food should be served warm and not cold. Thank you very much for all the help and hospitality rendered and we will definitely come back again!

I had an excellent stay in this tiny boutique hotel near the waterfront in Fort Kochi. The experience was lovely with very gentle and welcoming staff doing everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms have different categories and the best ones have a view on the river. Style is colonial and all is maintained clean and pleasant. The restaurant facing the river can serve you a la carte keralese cuisine. Breakfast is south indian style but changes daily. Local birds are a bit naughty so pay attention to your plate if you leave your table even for a minute ! Wifi works properly and the staff will help you with Uber rides or even can arrand a small river cruise for you.

Quite a disappointing experience in booking this place for a family holiday at FortKochi. Booked via their website that has advertised parking as one of their amenities . There was no parking, hotel reception asked us to park at the narrow market road , and leave the key with them so that they can move these cars when big trucks are in the road and it’s a busy market place . The reality of the state of place do not align with the photos in advert. The museum kings room that we booked was old with musty smell, windows and curtains dusty and bathrooms looking old and worn out. Swimming pool is name sake , outdoor restaurant might be good , we didn’t use ..we didn’t take the room due to unkempt room and parking. Talked to another customer who said they had fallen into the same trap and unfortunately had to stick with it as they didn’t have any other option
We raised the issue with reception who apologised for false advertising of car park and we contacted customer service and was offered full refund . I remind them so often and it’s almost 3 months , still waiting for refund and they have stopped replying to my emails
There is an unethical side that we see, luring customers with advertisement of false information, customer care being so irresponsible and again unethical that they stopped replying to mails asking for refund .
Please be careful before booking this place . The hospitality of the reception staff on that day was the only saving grace .
This is not a review after staying in the place , I have read great reviews about the place , but I would like the customers know what they would be getting into and to those people who assumed like me that heritage properties will also be worthy of the money you pay , I would like to caution you.

Bloom Boutique has an old-school vibe yet comes with all modern amenities. The staff is friendly and quick to response too. If you are looking to stay in a place that has a vintage charm, Bloom Boutique is the place to go. The property is well maintained, super clean, has great views of the backwaters and has a museum full of antiques and vintage collected pieces. The breakfast was decent but the options were limited. Give Bloom Boutique a try and you will not regret!

Stayed at WaterFront for 2 days. Room given to us was the best (suite room) with the best view. Annie (frontdesk manager) was kind enough to reserve the room for us, help us with all the requirements. We extended the stay for an extra day even though the meetings were in Kochi. This hotel has one of the best views inwhole of Fort Kochi. Stay is affordable, staff is courteous. Annie helped us and guided us through everything. Pricing of food is something they can have a re-look at.
This is my third stay there and would stay there on my every visit to fort kochi.
