Think twice about the laundry service, it wasn't really dried, as I see another reviewer also mentioned.
The most satisfying part of my stay was the assistance I received from one of the owners Mr. Alex. He has excellent communication skills in English and a very down to earth person. He was a ready reckoner not only on tourist related matters but also on other information relating to India and more particularly to Kerala. I had been a very wide traveler internationally and I do not hesitate to state that he is one of the finest persons whom I have met in the travel trade in my many travels round the globe from USA to China. His personal presence makes a huge difference for anyone in choosing Hotel Maple Regency as your accommodation unit. Rooms are absolutely cheap and it is a truly a budget hotel.
Thanking you,
Yours sincerely,

The staff very helpfull , rooms very clean , I had a room on the first floor , without air con this was an OVEN , either ask for a room higher up ( the first floor is quite closed in) or get an air con room IF There is one available .
A good place and location to spend a night while passing through .
This hotel we took it a transit place to stay as we were travelling Kochi unplanned. We got the number through tripadvisor and that was our last mistake. We enquired couple of times over phone about the availability and the person Sunil Mathew asked very rudely whether we are coming or not..
That was the signal and we shouldn't have come to this hotel but as we reached late and already spoke to Sunil so we came down. We reached night 10pm and he was asked too many questions and had a very rough discussions with him without giving us room to check in. He was asking wrong questions and what a bad attitude he has..
He gave us a 4 sharing room in 1600rs and claiming that they are running the show low.
That's it!!! And no more service from them.
No soaps, no water and A/C in room 105 were not working and not cooling effect was not there.
Morning we had to vacate the room by 12noon as this hotel has a 12noon checkout time.
We took a room double room (non AC) as we have to just dump our bags as we had a plan to roam in the city.
In the evening when we came back Sunil was there and he said since 3 persons are staying in the room so we need to pay extra 100rs for the extra bed. We don't have any issues but his behavior was so bad that my wife and my brother have to personally went down to talk to him.
I strongly suggest not visiting this hotel anytime as they will claim that they are running the show cheap but they are cheap in their nature.
Please learn the customer service and then open a hotel for the people...
This place is over hyped...
"The basic rooms in the hotel are good, with all the facilities one would need. The cottage rooms are more comfortable but also more expensive. The owner told us that there are plans to open a cafe for breakfast etc in part of the hotel."Read full review
"We stayed non-ac which is fine if you can handle the room being a little warmer - there is a ceiling fan above the bed"Read full review
"the cottages are definitely nicer than the rooms in the main building. Between March and June you would probably prefer with A/C."Read full review
