Rooms are great, nice small boutique hotel. Centrally located, walking distance to all tourist attaractions. Chef was courteaus. There is a see through window in the bathroom which does not have curtains, we had to use towels to cover that up to be sure. No buffet breakfast but we were asked to order from the available menu for free. The...

We ate there two nights running - the food was that good. Chef arrived and asked us what we wanted - we said surprise us - he did with some stunning prawns the size of your forearm with a masala paste marinade. Two vege curries and a lemon rice. Second night he served us the local fish with some different...

Our first two nights in Kochi were spent at the Trident, itself a fine hotel but definitely expensive and completely remote and difficult to get to and from. After a night on a houseboat we returned to Kochi for a final night. I had found Tissa Inn at random using TripAdvisor and booking sites. The building, previously a mansion, is...

Stayed in Tissa's for two nights whilst visiting Kochi! Hotel is lovely, rooms are spacious and roof top pool (albeit slightly small) is charming! The highlight of our visit was the chef, he couldn't do enough for us and even did a personal cooking course for us one night where we cooked our dinner with him (he didn't charge for...

After reading a review in the Independent as well as the reviews here we stayed in Tissa's Inn for two nights. The rooms are lovely, very clean and tastefully decorated. (There wasn't a fridge in our room which would have been nice as its been a standard in all the other hotels we've stayed in - but not a necessity)....

Lovely little hotel (6 or 8 rooms?) 5 minutes walk from the "tourist ghetto" so a bit less hadssle and a bit more real India than some. Tidy, clean, friendly service. Nice (small) pool on the roof. The food in the restaurant is good and inexpensive and breakfasts are tasty and fresh. All in all a good stay.

This small hotel was tastefully decorated and oozed character. You can tell the owner also runs an antique business with beautifully curated pieces dotted around the place. The staff are very friendly and willing to provide all sorts of advice and assist with bookings for your stay in Kochi or onward journey. The chef is quite a character and the...

We had a lovely brief stay at Tissa's Inn. Highlights include: - Helpful and friendly staff - Swimming pool and roof terrace - Central location Stuff that might be useful for other guests: - Great meditation and yoga centre down road (staff have details) - Malabar House nearby is a great restaurant for food, wine and traditional live Indian music

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and at home. The hotel is small, spotlessly clean with interesting quirky decor in the shared areas. Our room was comfortable and cool - it was humid and 43 degrees while we were there so a lovely haven. The great differential though is the lovely helpful staff. Jerry the chef, (as he...

Tissa's Inn is fairly expensive but the service is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful including the chef who is a real character. In fact the food on the whole is good value, and very tasty. The rooms are comfortable and the wi-fi works. The swimming pool is on the roof and big enough to help one cool...
