Large rooms and lovely staff. But the management could be improved. We had to request things several times, such as mosquito coils, before we got them and the housekeeping was very unreliable - different amounts of towels each day, table top not cleaned, had to keep asking for clean glasses. The manager never seemed to check on anything. Such a shame as it is in a great position.
Centrally located 3* level hotel with a small swimming pool and a good restaurant. Neat and clean big rooms. Helpful staff and professional management. Walkable distance to tourist spots. No direct view to the sea from the hotel.
The hotel is very basic but very nice. If you are looking for a simple room in Cochin, this us the good place to stay at. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.
Located in Fort Cochin, this hotel is a stone-throw away from famous Chinese fishing nets, Cultural Center of Cochin, and many shops and restaurants. It's also fairly close to Jew Town. Rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. There's a small pool. There's a very nice restaurant (I had a terrific beef with coconut chips) and bar. Staff is friendly and helpful.
It was a beautiful hotel. The room and facilities where great, the location is also very good, and we had some nice food. The staff was incredibly kind, we had the chance to speak some Spanish with Shihab, one of its members, he is really kind. Really recomenedd
We had our Lunch from restaurant ,it was wonderful, the service of the staffs was great, and the conversation of the staff shibu who speaks little bit our Russian language, he was so nice, and he supported and guided us very proactivly, and he gave us a tourist map of cochi, that was very helpful for us, and we had Kerala dishes and delicious seafood with indian bread.
I stayed 3 days in the hotel during my trip to South India. We were a group of 6 people. The hotel is great: the rooms are clean and spacious, the welcome is great, the restaurant is very good. We had a great time. I especially want to thank the staff member Shibu who was really great with my group. Smiling, kind, considerate, he managed to make our stay even more perfect. We had the chance to be served several times by him and it was a real pleasure.
We stayed here for three nights and loved our stay. The hotel is a quick walk to a myriad of local shops and activities. Also an easy tuk tuk ride to the Jewish area as well. Quick walk to the nets in the early morning. Pretty quiet, nice pool to cool off in, a decent bar and food. The staff are super helpful and kindly assist with any request. Super and affordable laundry service as well. Nice big and clean rooms too. If you decide to go to the Jewish area, stop in at the Yoga Art Cafe for the best coffee in the area.
I liked the friendly staff and easy to get around location of Killan's . The buzzing road facing restaurant is a place to chill out and have a beer or a meal. My room was a nice large sized one and the bathroom was clean and well equipped. The quality of linen, curtains and toileteries could improve considering it is not a budget hotel . The large windows in my room needed a bit of shine too. But overall I had a very pleasant stay and the staff were always a pleasure to interact with and always very helpful. As a solo traveller this was very important for me .
Cochin is not a high rise city and less polluted, walkable to the harborside Fort Cochin, Princess Street for great shopping...and our room was huge, large bathroom and walk in shower, AC and elevator. Provided by our OAT tour of South India and wonderful way to spend our final days. Too busy to use the pool.
