The last of the heritage trilogy is the Gama Heritage. The name itself is synonymous with its Portuguese connection that is related to Vasco De Gama. The resort takes us to a bygone era, which witnessed a huge change in the historical as well as the cultural scenario of Kerala. The architecture of Kerala also saw a significant transformation with the foreign connections coming in. This is evident from the structural designs of Bishops house of Kochi Diocese and the Indo-Portuguese museum as well and its located inside the bishop house, Fort Cochin. The location is very quiet and calm atmosphere and walkable distance to the beach (2 min), Chinese fishing net(4min). Friendly people, homely atmosphere, 24-hr service with better facilities.

My wife and I stayed for almost two weeks at Gama Residency and loved it. The location is excellent - easy walk to everything but a little secluded and not in tourist central. The room was simple, clean and comfortable. But above all, the staff was excellent. I can’t say enough about how much we came to appreciate the generosity and genuine hospitality of Nirmala, Jincy and Ajith. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend

This building had a really weird layout, when walking through it, I felt like I was in the shining. The hotel staff were lovely and the rooms were large and comfortable with good air con! This was based a little further out of the usual, so it took about 5/10 minutes to get into main town area. The only downside is the bad wifi, it only works in reception, but if you're placed in a room above the reception, you can just manage to use it. BREAKFAST IS AWESOME, it is a huge spread, definitely the best part. This is a nice hotel, I enjoyed the stay.

Friendly staff, very spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast was good for the price. Good location and absolutely quiet. Perfect ending for my three weeks long trip from north to south of India. Be aware of mosquitoes in the evening.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks. We were a group of 18, 14 students and 4 "staff" - I was one of them. This is likely the best price and location in Fort Cochi. Located in a courtyard, near the bishop house, this place is quiet and safe. You can walk everywhere from this residence. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast are simple and delicious- taste their ginger coffee!. AC is available, upon request and fridg work only when lights are on. Rooms- like nun cells- are simple and beautiful. Highly recommending this place
