This was the best of 3 hotels we stayed at in Cochin (holiday Inn) included. Anuj (the duty manager) was really helpful with our stay in helping us extend and taking care of our luggage for us. The beds are comfy. The restrooms are great. It’s a comparatively small place to some hotels but the details in the room are well worth the price paid. The attention you get is great. Would love to visit again if I’m in Cochin and would definitely recommend this place to others hoping to find a stay at Cochin.

I only stayed here for one night at the end of a trip. Standard Ibis. Basic but clean room. Comfortable for a night's rest. Staff were pleasant. I was out the whole day and came back late. The restaurant was nice. Nice atmosphere. I left early the next morning but they were really good and you can still get a small cold breakfast. The full service including hot breakfast starts later. I stayed in Kochi for a few nights at the start of my trip at another hotel which was more luxurious. I then travelled around Kerala and ended back in Kochi at this hotel. That was a nicer hotel with a swimming pool. Having said this, if your going to be out most of the time and want something cheap and comfortable in a good location then this is fine. An Ibis isn't somewhere to stay for a long period but for a few nights this is a good option. Although you are near shopping and restaurants, some of the tourist attractions are a short drive away. A taxi or tuk tuk are super cheap in India anyway.

I would rate the Hotel Ibis as very good on all parameters - cleanliness, service, location and food. For the price, the rooms are comfortable, bathroom is spotless and while small in size, good enough. WiFi works well, in the rooms too. Location is great - on a main street, so lots of options for eating places. We had breakfast included in the deal and we were not disappointed. The spread is varied, lots of choices and the restaurant manager (Mr. Prince) and the head chef are attentive and warm - two attributes which are very important if one is working in the service industry. The food is very tasty too. The other staff in the restaurant are pleasant and eager to please. In fact, there's nothing to complain about, the Ibis lived upto our expectations and is strongly recommended.

I’ve never felt so cheated with the process of ‘allowed to select my room’ for my Xmas & New Year trip of this year 2021 into year 2022. Few of the friendly staff along with the security staff joined me in bursting few crackers on my arrival day to kick off my celebrations of Xmas & I’m grateful for their time spent with me & for me. But Check-in took ages as there was a huge confusion about my room allocation as I was particular about my peaceful long stay as a solo female traveler avoiding adjacent room, room with an opposite door opening straight in my face & at last insisted to pick a room on a lower floor (sadest part) which was marked for a local cine actor for a movie discussion. Front desk has been overloaded with works that they have been very ‘busy’ for anything required unless I literally have made my bargains clear. Cheerful Teju at the FO always had time for pleasantries amidst the work load. Nirmal at the FO who promised to take care of my booking over phone during my arrival hasn’t done anything to write about except showing curiosity to meet me in person to greet me with well wishes for one day. Chef Subin of the restaurant pleasantly surprised me with yummy Karimeen on the day of my arrival & there stopped the hospitality for the lack of food items in the menu for enjoying the lovely Kerala Cuisine. Moreover, Restaurant had pathetic air conditioning to restrict my visit there though the staff are friendly there. Zomato food delivery is at the best to deliver food to my doorstep during my entire stay for whenever I didn’t venture out to eat. Housekeeping Aarya is the sole pillar of that department from the day of my arrival to help me with unpacking, keeping my room clean and meeting my requirements without a 2nd reminder. Ms Harjoth of Housekeeping tried her level best to run things smoothly yet slipping badly on 30.12.2021 to allocate a trainee to clean my entire room so I had to walk in to a Wet & Dirty washroom & entirely not so clean room after my long day out. She could have supervised this in a better way as she’s the one who took my housekeeping instructions on my day of arrival. Laundry services are neat and quick. Security team deserve a big round of applause for the help with my luggage, better knowledge about the local city than the front desk staff who always claimed being an outsider to Cochin. Suresh, Sudhakaran, Raghu, & Sanal are always ready to help me in guiding about the local routes and everything & they are not even bothered much about the tips from me. A big shout out to the entire Security team for even receiving my Xmas & New Year gifts that arrived to my hotel during my stay from my family. I could have happily given 4 star review to this 3 star property situated right on the busiest MG Road of Cochin with walkable distance of a Metro Station for connectivity if the staff of Front Desk who literally have been connecting with the other departments of the hotel for each & every requirement had less lethargic attitude in the name of being busy… Happy New Year 🥳 to all in the world… Let 2022 be peaceful, healthy & colorful…

I had to book on the same day for an unplanned trip which was a hassle-free experience. The location is right in the centre of the city, accessible to pretty much anything. The rooms were well equipped and clean. The food was tasty and was delivered in good time - room orders! Overall fair value for money. Recommended for people travelling to the city. A small issue was related to the price, when I called the rooms were offered a few bucks less than what i was billed for. It was a ridiculously small difference, so I did not haggle :) some consistency would have made it perfect.

The location is good. Walking distance to a small mall. Broadway. Hospitals. The rooms and toilets are small but clean. 1st floor restaurant. The services was excellent. Only problem was we get only 1 water bottle and coffee packets. Most of the tine have to call and get these things. Other than that i will recommend my friends and family to stay here.

Good location it is located right in city centre . Reception desk is on first floor.Rooms were very clean but very small . Bathroom also was very small but clean. Breakfast was good here. One major problem is they have card access to use elevators to go up. AS we had 4 people and only 1 card for each rom we had lot of problems due to this. IT is just an inconvenience to guests or they should by default give each guest 1 card to use.
