If one wants to learn how a hospitality venture is managed, operated or maintained, he should meet Mr Christofer Walton and request him to train☺ His humbleness is overwhelming. If you are planning Kochi.... must stay there. Believe on my words, you will not be disappointed

Mr Walton is a wonderful character and we loved our conversation with him , in his studio surrounded by the most interesting book collection. The rooms are neat and clean and beautifully presented , sitting around a lovely, green garden with Mrs Waltons orchids . Walton's attracts very interesting guests and we had lovely conversation around the breakfast table ....

Good communication with the inn keeper, Mr Walton, from initial enquiries to finalising booking. Very flexible in finding space when we altered the dates slightly on our booking. Rooms very clean with plenty of hot water, fresh towels and linen and soap. Helpful welcoming owners, with simple yet perfectly adequate breakfast. Fresh fruit grown in back garden. Interesting mix of...

We stayed two nights. Mr Walton went above and beyond in helping us manage the shortage of rupees and organising a great (and inexpensive) small boat backwater trip en route to our next destination. We had a ground floor room fronting the garden which was very comfortable. The location is brilliant being close to the fishing nets and in the...

We stayed 2 nights during the craziest week of the notes revolution in India. We had no money and during all our stay mr. Walton was so nice to us, I have no words. He has a beautiful colonial place with large shiny rooms, polished wood floor and walls, very coasy and pamper. A really grate place, you must stay...

This was the final part of my fantastic "Kerala Connections" tour. Set in the heart of the old city, a wonderful old building but still comfortable and relaxing. Mr Walton was really helpful and informative and his wife prepared delicious breakfasts for the guests. I loved having a little verandah looking out on the wonderful garden courtyard. It is brilliantly...

A really lovely homestay run by the kindest people. The Walton family did their best to make it as comfortable a stay as possible, making me feel very at home. As a 19 year old lone female traveller whose plans in Kerala crumbled, I was touched by the kind nature of Mr Walton. A very humble and generous man who...

Great homestay in an impressive heritage building in the heart of fort cochin. Incredibly neat and clean rooms which are cleaned daily, and showers are hot! The eggs served at breakfast are the best I've ever had! The charismatic Mr Walton also talks you through what to see and do in the area - and most importantly where to eat...

I cannot rate Walton's Homestay enough. Mr Christopher Walton looked after us like we were part of his family. I arrived and was unfortunately sick and Mr Walton and his family couldn't have been more accomodating making me feel comfortable and un self conscious about my rather grand entrance (!) Mr Walton was extremely helpful in advice and planning the...

Mr Walton was a fascinating man. He had been a school headmaster. He was highly knowledgeable about Kerala and had an inner peace and faith. The apartment complex was very private and abounded by tropical plants. The building was originally built by the Dutch in the days of the VOF trading company. Mr. Walton even has documents reflecting the period...
