We've checked in for a single night stay. They have taken full payment at check in itself. Once we enter the room tv is not working, to order room service telephone is not working. If u want to order your room service you've to walk to reception every time. 10 o clock will close the restaurant. Once the restaurant Is closed you'll not get a water bottle as well. They'll say since guests are less staff need to go, so we've to order as per their time. Rooms are good, food is average but service is pathetic. No one will response. So called Madam, she's a manager itseems but I've not seen her in my entire stay. But if u ask anything you've to call Madam for everything. If I ask receptionist to meet her they'll say she'll not be here always, she'll come and go. Total waste of money.
Not like usual Club Mahindra property. We took all 3 resort through club Mahindra we were literally upset and waned to avoide Neil . But for some good reason we could not able to reschedule our flight and wooooo what a good thing happen . Starting from Front office to bell boy Manager to cleaning staff you see a positivity in and around. Thanks to Manoj (manager) bajrang ,Ram and entire team for keeping up the name.Food wise compare to all this place was awesome. Note- This is not club Mahindra property .they have tie-up. Network is very bad
We travel as family and upon seeing pics online we thought of booking summer sand. First look we were bit disappointed as swimming pool was not functional it's took some time to sort out .FO boy need to improve on his communication as not only me I saw lot of other guest were also asking him to repeat or go slow. We were so upset that we thought of moving to different place but finally my wife notice something and she ask me to talk to this gentleman Manoj GM of property and that is the point entire thought process chenged.He made sure we get good room food was too good . Service excellent Malik was too good for his job. Good place too be if you know where to 🍾 knock the door .Advise-Talk to GM of the property . Suggestions- online room discription need to be changed Network need to be improved.…
Location of property is very good but not very well maintained. Good thing in here was they arranged a beautiful beach side dinner for extra cost. Otherwise so many small things here make the stay not stayable. For example, They don't provide towel outside swimming pool for in-house guest and we with my 5 yr old son had to go on wet cloths to our room, which was at a distance. Swimming Pool is not clean. Staff are kind but looks disoriented. Everytime Lunch and snacks payment is asked immediately not on the checkout like other resort. So we need to keep our wallet ready all the time. Overall good property but not upto the present standards of present resort and hospitality.
Just off humanity Sprawling area Ethnic look - certain furniture can be maintained better Clean decent sized swimming pool but the showers can be better maintained. Better room amenities like a fridge or kettle would be nice. Seaside awesome restaurant. Seafood is charged separately. food is good overall Plenty of indoor games Great view of the sunset Nd the restaurant is partly on the beach Reception and staff are too quiet. They are quite soft - no smile, no wishes and not very forthcoming. Feels good but can be made awesome with such a great property
We spent 1 day here having booked an excursion from our excellent cruise ship. We were welcomed by a pureed water melon drink, no other alternative, damp beach towels, broken tiles along the paths, ripped/torn umbrellas around the pool, one pool drained - not available for use. Having left a 5* cruise ship to spend the day here was a definite disappointment . Will I be returning to this resort - CERTAINLY NOT.
The property has multiple units, staff are friendly and VERY helpful. The 'twin-sharing' unit we stayed in is in urgent need of attention, the fridge is out of order and the shower works but not as expected. i'm writing to alert potential travelers to the unique experience of the fishy smell that emanates from a nearby processing plant each evening. Intense, is the only way to describe this. We saw good reviews and settled on this property but were completely caught off-guard with this amenity...So, the word is caution when you book. Other than that, the food is great - the chef is very good and can take special orders which come done in the way instructed. The surroundings are serene and calming, the sea is near although swimming may be risky as there is no life-guard and it tends to be swelly and rough (when we stayed). So for the money we paid INR 6000 per night, it is a bit much.…
Westerners do not go! What a rip off! £10 for half a bottle of cheap Indian wine, and for £70 a night you get a semi detached room with a view of someone else's AC unit, a broken toilet, no fridge, no safe, snail service in the restaurant and fish is not included in the a.i menu! I guess the rave reviews are written by locals who know no better and this is supposed to be the best hotel in Mangalore.
Stayed for 3 nights from 21 Dec to 24 Dec. Interaction during booking is not very friendly. It is more like take it or leave it attitude. Property is located in a quite location next to the beach - That is the only plus. Beach is very rough and can't blame resort for the same. However the property is very old and outside areas are not maintained. Rooms are fine but full of mosquitoes in the night and getting a good night's sleep is difficult because of them. Adding to that is the AC outdoor unit noise ! Food is below average and priced exorbitantly and it is a complete disappointment. There are much better places in Mangalore than this. Would not recommend this unless things are addressed.
+ The resort is in a nice location + The restaurant is facing a private beach + Restaurant has hospitable people + Food is good too + Was not crowded as it was a weekday + Pool is well maintained (-) Phone Booking agent "Priya" was very rude and authoritative, if we had not booked this place, we would not have visited this resort. Owners of this property should take good care of who they outsource their bookings to, it's best not to give it to someone like Priya, who was not an employee of this resort.
