Kind of filthy place. Looks good from outside. You can find a much better place for the price. I do not think they clean the rooms or the common space every day. I should have been more careful while searching for a hotel in Mangalore which otherwise is a very beautiful coastal city.
Abhiman Residency is well located and reasonably priced. Room is spacious and service levels are good. The room comes with complimentary break fast. But no wifi. Good parking facilities. Break fast is served in Shiv Sagar Restaurant. There is limited menu for complimentary BF as well as limit of what we can eat. This is restrictive. The management may like to review this and also ensure that BF is served hot.
Non a/c rooms are not good. A/c rooms are of kind of okay. No blinds in the window and heating due to sunlight is high and not quiet rooms even in A/c room. Breakfast is in a nearby restaurant and frugal options.
This used to be the place for awesome food. Pretty old restaurant that still runs on its reputation. Quality of service isn't great and the food quality... well... it isn't the same anymore. Had gone there due to nostalgia but don't think would be visiting again.
Sad stay.. thankfully the in house restaurant is the saving grace with good food!! The bed sheets are not clean.. the toilets are not maintained well with leaking taps. The room has a musty smell when you enter in...
Room was clean. We were provided a big non-ac room with sofa and it was comfortable to have dinner in room. Service and quality of stay is acceptable. Newer hotels are more competitive with better looking rooms etc bu this is a tried and tested hotel recommended by local relatives too. Breakfast is in attached veg hotel which is also good value for money. Lost a point as they need to renovate heavily if they want me to come again!
Ideal for over night stay.. Rooms are clean.. Not too expensive... Don't expect too much. Location is good... Food in the restaurants is not that great.. Avoid the veg restaurant shiv Sagar attached to the hotel...
We had a good experience overall. They offered us 10% discount since it was a business trip. The food was a bit on the expensive side when compared to the taste. The room was clean and newly renovated. Spacious bed.
Hi Rooms are Decent, Clean, no Room Wifi . In room Dinning is good, Had Nice Restuarant Anupama for Non Vegetarian. Hotel is in the peak of the city Mangalore. Lodging needs improvement in terms of maintenance and cleanliness.
I had been to Hotel Anupama at Abhiman Residency for lunch on 26th Dec,2015.I had ordered for silver fish rava fry(known as Bolengir fish in Tulu) & King fish masala fry ( known as Anjal fish/Surmai fish in Tulu) steam rice & fish gravvy with out fish. The preparation was awesome.I had a butter milk too.My bill came to Rs.800/- approximately. The service was fast. The staff were courteous. The restaurant is in the premises of Abhiman Residency,it is a lodge. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor. They have elevators.I rate it 4 star for there food.
