It’s a great place to stay with the best experience ever for a hometsay. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the Owners and staff were extremely friendly. Home cooked food was yummy. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you Akshata for being a perfect host.

We had an amazing experience in this homestay. We were group of 8 with 20 months old kid. The place is super clean, comfortable and safe. Prasanna & family were great hosts and are welcoming and friendly. Also, the front yard of the homestay has a very nice lawn where we can play around. They even went out of their way to get desi cow milk for our kid and arranged birthday party with super tasty cake. Food was super taste and I got some great recipes from Akshatha. We never felt we were at homestay , it felt we were visiting our relatives. They even recommended awesome places to visit around. Highly recommend this place.

This place is nestled amongst coffee plantation away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Hosts are amazing and food they serve is lip smacking. The location is well placed between main tourist destinations of Chikmagalur.Highly recommended for anyone traveling to Chikmagalur.

The hosts -Akshatha and Prasanna are amongst the best hosts I have ever met. They always make sure you are at the best of your comforts. Rooms were very neat and clean including toilet. Warm water was always available. The place is very quiet and relaxing.The food is impeccable and so is the staff. This place is a definite recommendation if you are heading to Chikmangalur

Good location and well maintained property, Very welcoming family, big and clean room, comfortable bed, We had yummy homemade food on all days which we asked for and a nice conversation with the hosts, they are really so friendly! The Villa has 3 rooms and a big hall which accommodated our large family of 8 Adults and 4 Kids. Wish they had one more room with an attached washroom. But they have plans to expand the accommodation which we can see is under process. At end of the day we felt that we just stayed at another home. Thanks Mrs.Akshata,Mr. Prasanna for your hospitality you have made the Trip memorable.

The stay was fantastic, enjoyed to the fullest, Food prepared by Aakshata was excellent nd yummy, she is very friendly nd humble. Felt like a Home rather than homestay..kids enjoyed the stay, place is very safe nd secure. Suggestions: It would be fine if there would be Swing for kids to Play. This week i stayed at Kalgudda Home stay for two days to attend a wedding and loved every moment spent. The host were so great, helped us at every moment going out of their comfort zone and i must say the service was fantastic!!! The food the view everything perfectly in sync !! Definitely recommend specially for Families!!
