The Blossom resort in the outskirts of chikkamagaluru is an excellent relaxing atmosphere 👌 the room service, food ,accommodation is just awesome 👌. I WANT APPRECIATE MR.POONACHHA & SMT.VEENA at the front desk are really good with a beautiful welcome & explaining about the resort, near by places was really impressive. Kudos to you 👦
The resort is amazing. Location is also good. Quiet accessible. Staff are extremely helpful and very obliging. Upkeep of room is not very great infact I would go on to say it’s was very bad. The lock was very loose.the toilet though it said it’s sanitised didn’t give us that feeling. The food and quality of food also very average while the variety and spread ok the food not very good like how the review mentioned. We had steamed corn for snack and it was completely dry, not well cooked. There is no Ac in the room and it can get very very warm in summer though there is both ceiling and pedastal fan The resort has to really work on hygiene and maintenance But since staff were accommodating and helpful and it was only 1 night stay we could manage
I planned a trip with my family to Chikmagalur from my hometown (Shivamogga). Then while I was searching in internet for some good resort near Chikmagalur, i found the blossom resort which was rated more than 4.5 stars out of 5. Also saw few of the reviews and then booked 2 night stay for my entire family. We were 5 adults and 2 kids. I should really say that place was not very far from my hometown, it was around 80KM and took me around 1.5 hours of journey in my car. So once we entered the place, we were astonished with a beautiful looking reception and pool and play area near to it. We booked a room called as Double bed withgarden view which was an individual room with double cot and a sofa in the foyer area. The room was very spacious for 2 to 3 people. Also everything in the room was very clean and neatly maintained. But I would really recommend if you are going to this resort, please book the room with hill view which is little expensive compared to garden view but it's worth as you get a good view of Mulaynagiri hills. Coming to the food, the restaurant inside serves both veg and non veg but as we were vegetarians, i could say that it was really good and there were lot of varieties as well. Also the breakfast was complementary and it was very nice as the dosa and akki rotti were made freshly. I was worried about engaging kids but there was an outdoor play area as well as indoor one. The property also has a big open space so kids will surely look to roam around. Also the pool was well maintained and there was a kid pool area as well so it was really helpful. There are adventurous play area as well for adults which has many levels of rope activity but only one thing which I felt bad was there was no instructors for it and it's really difficult to play without guidance. So overall i can say we had good time spent in the resort as staff was also well trained and they were very friendly. The place is beautifully located and cleanly maintained. I would recommend to my friends and family to visit atleast once this place. …
One of the best places we stayed at in recent times. Truly value for money. The resort is vast and very well maintained. The rooms are relatively large, ideal for a family of 4 or more, and offer great views of the mountains. The food served is amazing. Please ask the restaurant manager for special local cuisine. Amenities wise it offers a pool and typical campfire arrangements and some games. What we liked the most was - spacious rooms with great view, amazing food all three meals, very friendly and accommodative staff. Right from Mr. Chandramouli to Praveen and Yashant, they ensured we enjoyed and relaxed during our stay. The only sore point was there was no spa. Also, the rooms were getting refitted, so some fixtures like mini fridge, racks in bathroom were missing. But those were of no major concern or issue. By now these should be in place, my guess. All major tourist attractions are under an hour drive away from this location.…
25 km from the sleepy Chikmagalur town, the winding roads take you to the doorstep of a beautiful resort. A plush lobby, garden, flower and smiling staff welcome you aboard. Through a stone pathway we were led to our villa room amidst the lush green gardens which was our cave for the next 2 days in the middle of the wilderness What was Excellent: 1. Service and hospitality is the highlight of this place 2. Housekeeping was spot on, thanks to Praveen and team 3. Beautifully designed resort, lot of open space and landscaping 4. Covered Bonfire area with ample chairs is enjoyable 5. Wilderness, attached coffee estate 6. Tasty evening tea/coffee with 3 variety snacks What was Good: 1. We had booked breakfast and dinner. Buffet was served. Initially Food was average, it got better on the second day. 2. Villa room was very large 3. Good view from room 4. Dedicated games room with TT table 5. Swimming pool 6. Airtel network is very good, they provide free dongle through out the stay Needs improvement: 1. Even though the resort is just 6 years old, the (villa) rooms have aged more 2. Restroom is clean, but the glaring repair work, odd looking taps and toiletries make it unpleasant 3. Toilet/room freshener, exhaust fans are good to have 4. Bed gave a back ache, it had caved in 5. Games amenities not maintained 6. Very big rope activity area exists, no maintenance, no proper support staff Anyhow, the highlight of our Chikmagalur trip is not the majestic mullayyanagiri or the serene baba budangiri, it is the blossom resort. Looking forward for my next trip to blossom!!…
Unnecessarily overpriced unclean unmaintained rooms beautifully decorated with spiderwebs. Smelly bathrooms are wonderful add on. On top of it the approach stairs to the room was creeking as if it will fall down if you step on li’l fast. My personal bedroom is much better than this so called resort room. Unnecessarily over priced. Not even worthy of 1000/- per night. They will offer you welcome drink if you are among top 5 deciled lucky customers, else for general customers like us have to stand in front of the empty reception desk and howl at the top of voice like a fox. Wi fi is a distant dream yet. Jhulas are tied to the most delicate branches of the tree giving you a feeling of tipping from the very second you try to sit on it. Only good thing is restourant, food is really tasty. I wish to rate -5 star…
We stayed here in Feb-21 for 3N/4D in Mountain View Room. The property is huge, overlooks an amazing view of mountain n valley and spread over having a coffee plantation inside where one can enjoy morning walk after breakfast or Lunch. There is a adventure activity area where activity can be enjoyed. There is Kids play area for them to enjoy. Badminton/Volleyball court & Pool for kids/adults. They arrange bon-fire at night with music along with grilled food and beer. The resort restaurant is at high point in the entire premises & offers open sit-out with awesome view of mountain range. There was lot food variety in breakfast/lunch/dinner and taste was also very good both in veg and non-veg. The property is bit far from Chikmagalur city hence travelling in personnel vehicle is recommended. AsIndoor Game area can be improved. The staff is polite and supportive. Overall, our stay was very relaxing, pleasant and have very good memories of the place. We wish to go back again and recommend the property on account of amazing views, good food, rooms, adventure activities, greenery inside.…
Memorable day for me..... Too good to spend time with family, food quality is also good ,near to the city, adventures games are very nice to play, very nice to place to refresh mind, i just loved it ❤
The resort is located on the main road leading to Tarikere and has fairly good rooms..Apart from that , facilities, activities are minimum; so if you are planning to spend your time at resort only then this is not the place.. the path leading to small plantation was so dirty and stinking that we didn't step into that. If you have a car and willing to travel an hour in either direction then you could cover a lot of sights.. One of the biggest let down was food which was cold and tasteless on Day 1 but improved on Day 2..Only redeeming feature is the Manager Chandramouli who responds and helps..
Location: away from main town in a peaceful location amidst coffee plantation. Most of the places of interest within 25 km of radius. Rooms: can be improved upon to make them more guest friendly. Cleanliness: very good house keeping team. Mr. Praveen makes sure the rooms are very clean and small queries are taken care of immediately. Food: the highlight was the food served. The variety, taste and presentation were superb. Thanks to Mr. Yashank, the f&b manager. Management: Mr. Chandramouli, who manages is the resort is a very helpful, cordial and a very warm person who always has a smile on his face. Staff: The staff is very courteous, efficient and honest. Recreation: the resort is located at various levels of height which make it more interesting fir children to have outdoor play. Swings, carrom board, table tennis, swimming and burma bridge etc. make the stay for children enjoyabme. Overall a wonderful experience. …
