A true Eco resort , Our Native Village on the outskirts of Bengaluru is a good place for a family break and also popular with corporates for team building. The 25 rooms have basic amenities , made of local materials the rooms remain comfortable without any air-conditioning. A variety of activities from flying a kite ,to traditional games and an...

We chose this resort as our christmas getaway, as i was not fit to travel far from bangalore. The place did not actually disappoint us. Not much to do for two days, but if you want to have that relaxed holiday and a child who loves to play in water, this place is definitely a good choice. Considering the no...

We decided to have Our Native Village for family day outing of about 20 members and were very disappointed with the facilities and service provided. Everything was below expectation and definitely wasn't worth for the money. Please visit before making reservation don't go by their website pictures it is very deceiving. Don't know who give 4 star rating for such...

Dear Ajay. Thank you for writing a review fro our resort. Taking time off and writing a review needs patience, commitment and passion, and I am so glad you have all these. I am glad that you found our experiences - pottery, bullock cart rides, milking the cow - good. I am also glad that you approved of some of...

We visited Our Native Village for a team offsite. Although we have travelled and stayed at various types of hotels, this one came as a pleasant surprise for us. The concept of Eco resort in village surroundings intrigued us. This was just like our ancestors lived, all those years ago.. in the villages, albeit, not as tough as their living...

Thank you so much for your lovely review Poonam! I am so glad that you captured almost everything that we stand for in your review - not just the list of activities, but the essence of our soul and what we stand for. Our ancestors lived such a wholesome and sustainable life, which we have lost because of our 'progress...

Was overly charged for lunch / dinner (3k for 2 pax for 1 day) and the place is not value for money from tariff perspective. Stay is decent, activities (sports) are okay and food quality is not as claimed. The staff is courteous, locations & climate is good - I'd recommend Taj Kuteera any day over this.

Thank you Kiran for your review. taking time off and actually writing a review needs commitment, and I am grateful to you for taking the time off for this review. Glad you liked our activities. Food is such a subjective issue. One mans food is another mans poison, so trying to keep everyone happy is something that we work very...

All your comments on the improvements we need to make are noted with sincerity and humility from our side. Thank you for pointing them out. Sometimes, we tend to ignore some obvious issues, because we live on the property. Reviews like yours is a wake up call - so thank you again! most often we do not have the capability...

God Bless you and your family Venkat! So here is the secret for our awesome hospitality. None of my staff are 'trained' in hospitality. They are all simple villagers who love serving guests. They get a thrill when they see guests are happy. Their smiles are not practised for guests. They smile from their hearts, their eyes light up from...

The very first USP is pet friendly, it's always a pain to leave away your pet behind and stay in a resort. Following are my observations : The travel is just an hour and its in a place where you really feel that you have come out of Bangalore completely and lush green open land. Rooms are very nice and...
