It was not just learning Asanas, pranayama in 21 days, It was more of all the philosophies, principles and experiencing a different life style . I am happy that I was a part of Shrimath and I chosen this place. Situated in a beautiful place surrounded by greenery , very well maintained, healthy and good food. I would love to recommend this place who is looking for yoga teacher training. Thanks to Mr. Krishna , Smrithi, Hema & all Srimath team for this amazing experience.

I had the privilege of attending a Yoga teacher training course at Shrimath Yoga December 16/January 17. It's a beautiful, relaxing wonderful place to learn. The staff and family are truly amazing people. The accommodations are comfortable and clean. The food is fresh, homemade and so good. The yoga instructor Hema and theory teacher Krishna are extremely knowledgeable and the best thing is they live what they teach. They have a true passion for their work. They are also very patient and compassionate people. They make a great team. If you are interested in Yoga instructor training and want the true authentic lifestyle of a yogi then Shrimath is for you. Also take some extra time to discover the wonderful Country of India! In our times of ‘yoga craze’ when yoga training courses keep on popping up everywhere in the world, to find a genuine Yoga School that methodically integrates the original sources of Yoga tradition has not been easy. And that is why I was so happy I have found Shrimath Yoga School, set on an eco farm and with the max capacity for only 8 people. The running team is very small but dedicated: Krishna who is the main teacher on the whole yoga system and its practices; Hema, his niece who has a masters degree in Yoga (from Yoga University at Bangalore) and teaches Asanas and Pranayama in her full grace; Smirthi, Krishna’s wife who cooks amazing Indian meals and keeps the whole place very well organized; Soba, a local woman who with her shy smiles and amazing soups warms your heart

Although the yoga training is only 21 days, you are provided with a great wealth of knowledge. Learning takes place by listening, doing, and experiencing! I was new to a lot of the traditional yogic life and have embraced it totally since my time at Shrimath Yoga. If you are on a personal journey to become more than a yoga teacher, you can not find a better place! The staff is welcoming, the grounds are beautiful, and the food is excellent.

I chose Shrimath due to a friend's recommendation so I had some sort of an idea what to expect - or at least that is what I thought. The 3 weeks spend at this magical place went way too fast and it gave me so much more I could've ever asked for. I left with so many tools for a more balanced, happier life and with more confidence and trust towards myself and the future. I am so grateful to the Shrimath-family for all the teachings, life lessons and memories. Also the amazing kids at the village school will always have a special place in my heart. I hope to be back some day (and eat all the delicious food again). Namaste!

I was a participant of the 200hr yoga program Dec16-Jan17. Although it's a teacher training program it is much more focussed on your journey in the path of yoga and will teach you all the philosophies, principles and processes of all that is yoga. Asanas, pranayama, kriya, mantra, awareness, nidra, karma; all are covered during the 21 days, all taught from the traditional yogic lineage. It was a humble and hopefully life changing experience to stay at Shrimath and we were so well looked after by the teachers and all the others. Now it's time to put it all into practice!

I was blissfully unaware of the speed at which the three weeks at Shrimath Yoga passed by for the teacher training course. Located in tranquil and idyllic surroundings, the living quarters are neat, the food healthy and wholesome, the staff kind and considerate and the Yoga course a wonderful life-changing experience. Especially enjoyed the time with the small kids in the village school and the gardening work! After the course, I have taken to my yoga practice with renewed vigor, and look forward to spreading the joy and happiness I have experienced through yoga to people in Japan after I return. Full marks to Krishna, Hema, Vanitha, Smruti and the other staff of Shrimath Yoga. I look forward to visiting you again some day!

I have always wanted to do a yoga teacher training and deepen my yoga practice. I decided on Shrimath due to a friend's recommendation. I knew I wanted to do my training in India. I had been at a crossroads in my career so in September 2016 I came to Shrimath not knowing how impactful the 21 day program would be. It did change my life and helped me move into a new direction. I am thankful for everyone at Shrimath especially Krishna, who shared his wisdom and knowledge with us. I am happy and luck to be going back in January to assist with the next yoga teacher training. I'm looking forward to seeing the Shrimath family again and of course the amazing food.

I don't quite agree with how Shrimath Yoga has been categorised under Speciality Boarding. Staying at Shrimath for the 21-day 200-hour yoga program is an experience, and it is an experience for only a select few. Not everyone can pluck themselves from their daily mundane life of job, deadlines, career, bucket-lists, goals, etc. and come to Shrimath to learn about things that matter the most. At Shrimath Yoga one learns about a yogic life, not just postures or yoga aasanas. I stayed in the humble yet comfortable room for 21 days and followed a rigorous routine on a daily basis without the intervention of technology or unnecessary human interaction. The daily routine has different sessions and classes through the day with ample breaks and free time. The daily schedule aligns with a

How do I even begin to summarize my time here.... I heard about Shrimath through a friend of mine while backpacking SE Asia. After hearing such wonderful things and their lovely experience I decided to pursue Shrimath as my school. I must mention I left Rishikesh (yoga capital of the world) and headed to rural Bangalore to do my course. I am forever grateful having made this decision. Though, I cannot speak on the experiences of the schools in Rishikesh as I've never done a course there (I'm sure they are amazing too!). However, I was seeking an intimate smaller scale setting to receive this knowledge and Shrimath offers exactly that. They cap their limit at 10 students despite constantly being in demand (at least what it was while I was there) and this keeps the school tailored
