Beautiful place for Yoga and to learn basics of living. I specifically learnt the importance of yoga we've been missing. Very hospitable place with a fantastic management team. All the Best Krishna Prakash and team !!
To sum up, Shrimath for me has been a journey, one of self-discovery, one of peace and one of just, living. City life and just everything about the metropolitan can be tiring and with jobs, stressful. Shrimath is one such place which just helps you connect with nature. And the staff just completes this place, be it KP sir's afternoon meditation class, or Smrithi maam's yoga classes or just food sessions with Shobha akka and Kamal bhaiyya, they're all just amazing. One such experience in life which you can't miss, and thankfully, it need not be once in a lifetime. Definitely going back to finish other courses!
I always wanted to learn yoga in an authentic way and now, I am glad about my decision to attend 200 hrs at Shrimath Yoga. Smrithi and Krishna(KP) Ji both are very caring and provided all the homely facilities for me, my mom and my little one (5 months old).I enjoyed how KP made the classes simpler to follow, yet giving the deeper understanding on each concept. The schedule was perfect, by starting with meditation, followed by asanas, teaching at school, karma yoga, Pranayama, Yoganidra. This was all with the supplement of fresh and home made healthy food provided to keep us energized. Smrithi's knowledge on cooking and making it all from scratch at home is just awesome. Not to forget about the serenity of the place (you should visit to experience it!). Nithya, Punya and…
We went for Stress Management Workshop and really it was very helpful. The way of Mr. Krishna's teaching was excellent and very easy to understand. Accommodation and food was very tasty and healthy. Do visit to learn new way of LIFE.
The 21-day, 200 hours program at Shrimath Yoga was an enriching experience as a whole. It was the time that my awareness towards yoga had increased; “yoga” covers every aspect right from asanas to even karma yoga (selfless actions). Throughout the day, we had asana, pranayama, philosophy, and yoga nidra classes, and in between, we had excellent food freshly prepared with a healthy approach. KP’s philosophy classes took my understanding of yoga to a deeper level. Smrithi’s asanas and pranayama lessons gave me the insight that there is a variety of techniques to improve our physical health. I am blessed to learn under such wonderful teachers. What I liked the most about Shrimath is the holistic nature of the course. I stayed in a nice rural set-up where I experienced simple and…
From the minute you set foot in this place, Krishna takes over control of your life. Be sure to read the code of conduct before signing up. I didn't apparantly: big mistake!!! Certainly learned some valuable lessons non the less... Fortunately I found a place to continue learning yoga in a friendlier way.
(YTT 3 weeks August 2018) I came to Shrimath to get a better understanding of the down-laying principles of Yoga. As the previous writers mentioned I also got my moneys worth, but there’s so much more... First I put on weight – be prepared to eat three times a day the probably most delicious food in whole India - freshly cooked regional, seasonal food matching the needs of the participants regarding climate etc. (during my stay I can’t remember a dish that was being served twice!) The real India - may it be the work with the rural school kids, the pilgrimage to Shringeri, the trips to the farmers market or just the opportunity to join Sir KP to the local hairdresser you’ll get an authentic experience of the country and its people (I you’re up for it) - all being tesserae that…
Spending time at Shrimath was the gateway to a whole new reality for me- a deeper sense of self, mindfulness and compassion. The patient and gentle instruction helped facilitate physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth and well being. My most favorite part was how KP blended tradition, with yoga and showed us why it is important . KP was clothed in a humble authenticity that not only spurred me on to deeper soul awakening, but continues to revitalize my soul and transform my ordinary moments into sacred spaces full of life , joy , awareness and wonder. Shrimath! where do I start, I have no clue how destiny played its role to send me to shrimath. I just left in a days notice, didn't know what to except. But I honestly believe it was one of the best decisions I made. The love and care I received from each and everyone over there were unbelievably amazing. Simple things that we did at Shrimath like teaching the rural kids, working on the farm, basic housekeeping made me realize, life need not be very complicated and extravagant, Minimalistic living can also do the magic. Teachings at Shrimath helped me to think about few of the basic questions about life like What is success and why do we run behind it so much? Are we complicating our life with loads of work hours and continues corporate pressure? Or the smile on the little…
I have attended a Yoga program conducted by Shrimath along with my wife. It is truly a great place to learn - the complete 360 Degree Yoga - both spiritual and postures/Yoga Nidhra and to live a truly an amazing way of yogic life. Sessions were interestingly packed!! a Mix and match of step by step unfolding of different tenets of Yoga - from the spiritual part of it...Truly a tradition to cherish!! The serene surroundings give you an ambience that sinks your yoga practice and take you deeper level of consciousness !! Certainly a great experience to go thru and learn the right way!! Most sessions are handled with more focus of practical and self-learning. The rooms are neat and food quality / timings are superb. Prakash, Smrithi - and team!! Great work in imparting great…
