I got little delayed in writing the review. I stayed at Shrimath for 100 hours YTT in Jan 2019. I have been looking for a Yoga course that stays true to the traditional form of Yoga and was very happy to have found this place after a lot of research. I also wanted to explore the way one lived in a Gurukul in earlier days and I will recommend it to anyone who truly wants to experience that. It is important to understand this when you zero in on Shrimath. Shrimath encourages you to leave behind your daily life so one must mentally be ready to handle that. Krishna's classes wherein he taught us about the spiritual aspect and chants have left a deep sense of satisfaction at a personal level. The rooms are clean, the food very tasty and overall the team ensures you feel taken care

I first attended Shrimath 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Oct/Nov 2017, and was very excited to be returning for in May of this year (2019) year to study for the Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Yoga (PGDAY), facilitated by Shrimath. Upon arriving, it really did feel like coming home. From returning to Shoba's delicious This type of training was slightly different to the usual YTT, as the focus was preparing for the PGDAY practical exams and written exams. All round, the preparation and the exams went off without a hitch. We (Krishna, Smirthi, and some other participants) worked as a team each day to prepare, which included internal classes and self-study to ensure we were ready. On top of that, being on the farm is a great environment for learning and deepening your

Shrimath is a very special place and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn about yoga (and life) in a truly authentic way. Contacting them just weeks before my trip to India, Krishna and Smrithi kindly welcomed me to join in all the classes taking place as part of the 200 hours course during my 5 day stay. I will be forever grateful... Though only there for a short time the full daily schedule made for such an enriching experience and I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from such wonderfully inspiring teachers and fellow students. The accommodation is clean and comfortable set in a beautiful garden - the flowers, birdsong, sunrises and sunsets are all an absolute treat! The food is delicious and plentiful! And it was a privilege to meet

I discovered Shrimath 3 years back from a friend I met backpacking. She really sold me on it so I signed up. Little did I know how much this place would change my world (back then & even now after returning) I felt 3 years prior I was given a lot of tools and insight to what traditional yoga was and is. One thing I love about Shrimath/Team is the feeling you're part of something. There's ressources shared after and they keep in touch via a large what's app group of all the students! I thought this was beautiful. Coming back was like a feeling I was going to see old friends and family & that didn't disappoint. This time around I came to go deeper into yoga and practice and being back here a 2nd time I've integrated a lot more and these tools have already shown effects on my

We are outsourcing some work to a partner in India and came to the country to meet the team. They surprised us with a day at Shrimath Yoga on the day of departure. This was a delightful experience. A highlight was getting to play with the children at a nearby school, but frankly so many aspects were incredible. The food is divine, fresh, and expertly cooked by his wife. I’m so glad I got this experience.

To sum up, Shrimath for me has been a journey, one of self-discovery, one of peace and one of just, living. City life and just everything about the metropolitan can be tiring and with jobs, stressful. Shrimath is one such place which just helps you connect with nature. And the staff just completes this place, be it KP sir's afternoon meditation class, or Smrithi maam's yoga classes or just food sessions with Shobha akka and Kamal bhaiyya, they're all just amazing. One such experience in life which you can't miss, and thankfully, it need not be once in a lifetime. Definitely going back to finish other courses!

I always wanted to learn yoga in an authentic way and now, I am glad about my decision to attend 200 hrs at Shrimath Yoga. Smrithi and Krishna(KP) Ji both are very caring and provided all the homely facilities for me, my mom and my little one (5 months old).I enjoyed how KP made the classes simpler to follow, yet giving the deeper understanding on each concept. The schedule was perfect, by starting with meditation, followed by asanas, teaching at school, karma yoga, Pranayama, Yoganidra. This was all with the supplement of fresh and home made healthy food provided to keep us energized. Smrithi's knowledge on cooking and making it all from scratch at home is just awesome. Not to forget about the serenity of the place (you should visit to experience it!). Nithya, Punya and

The 21-day, 200 hours program at Shrimath Yoga was an enriching experience as a whole. It was the time that my awareness towards yoga had increased; “yoga” covers every aspect right from asanas to even karma yoga (selfless actions). Throughout the day, we had asana, pranayama, philosophy, and yoga nidra classes, and in between, we had excellent food freshly prepared with a healthy approach. KP’s philosophy classes took my understanding of yoga to a deeper level. Smrithi’s asanas and pranayama lessons gave me the insight that there is a variety of techniques to improve our physical health. I am blessed to learn under such wonderful teachers. What I liked the most about Shrimath is the holistic nature of the course. I stayed in a nice rural set-up where I experienced simple and
