I landed in Shrimath yoga without much expectations. But, on reaching there, i was taken by surprise on several aspects including the ambience, accommodation, food and the landscape. Just like a vedic Gurukulam, but with modern facilities. This combination makes Shrimath Yoga a unique centre for traditional Yoga learning. Daily activities like teaching in the rural school is added advantage. It helped me to learn some interesting things from those children. It was good experience working in the garden of Shrimath as i live in an apartment where i get very limited scope for gardening. I loved thoroughly this activity. On the main part, yoga, i certainly gained a vast knowledge from Mrs and Mr. Krishna. I am thankful to them for making my first yoga learning experience very best.

We're from Bengaluru and had to drive 40 kms from the city to reach this endearing place in the lap of mother nature called Shrimath Yoga run by the lovely couple - Krishna Prakash and Smrithi Krishna with a lot of hospitality. This is not a resort for a weekend getaway or a break from your daily routine. Yes, it certainly is a break from stress as the place embraces you with the touch of soothing breeze and tranquility. Sounds of the peacock calling in the distance can be heard amidst the sounds of chirping birds and the cow's moo! Watch the goats with their kids and the cows with their calf as you soil your hands with the aroma of fresh mud while engaging in their 3 acres campus as part of 'Karma Yoga' practice. Many trees with their botanical names and medicinal plants

I'm sooo late at writing my review, big apologies Shrimath. It in NO way reflects the service you provide as that is nothing short of life changing! I never usually write reviews but in this case I really want to support Shrimath and share my love! Settle in, I have a bit of a story. I completed the 200hr course in August 2016. It was incredible! Exactly what I needed at that time without knowing it. I feel very blessed to have completed this with the Shrimath family. I tell everyone of my wonderful experience here. But it didn't start so rosy... I had been in India 2 months and started a very different 200hr course in Rishikesh. I only lasted a week at this school as it was horrendous conditions to learn in! We were 50 students half Russian speaking and half English speaking

Shrimath Yoga is a hidden treasure. Two of my friends and I were looking for a short yoga retreat while visiting India for the first time. We participated in the ‘tiny experiences’ two-day yoga retreat with Krishna and Smriti as our instructors. They are very genuine people and we greatly enjoyed my time at Shrimath Yoga. Krishna and Smriti were very respectful of our religious practices and of our goals with the course. Krishna discussed our expectations and goals with us at the start of the course so it could be more individualized of what experience we were interested in, as our group of three were the only students present on the grounds during our course. The hospitality we received was unbeatable, they truly cared for us and our yoga practice. Not only did we perform yoga

I got little delayed in writing the review. I stayed at Shrimath for 100 hours YTT in Jan 2019. I have been looking for a Yoga course that stays true to the traditional form of Yoga and was very happy to have found this place after a lot of research. I also wanted to explore the way one lived in a Gurukul in earlier days and I will recommend it to anyone who truly wants to experience that. It is important to understand this when you zero in on Shrimath. Shrimath encourages you to leave behind your daily life so one must mentally be ready to handle that. Krishna's classes wherein he taught us about the spiritual aspect and chants have left a deep sense of satisfaction at a personal level. The rooms are clean, the food very tasty and overall the team ensures you feel taken care

I first attended Shrimath 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Oct/Nov 2017, and was very excited to be returning for in May of this year (2019) year to study for the Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Yoga (PGDAY), facilitated by Shrimath. Upon arriving, it really did feel like coming home. From returning to Shoba's delicious This type of training was slightly different to the usual YTT, as the focus was preparing for the PGDAY practical exams and written exams. All round, the preparation and the exams went off without a hitch. We (Krishna, Smirthi, and some other participants) worked as a team each day to prepare, which included internal classes and self-study to ensure we were ready. On top of that, being on the farm is a great environment for learning and deepening your

Shrimath is a very special place and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn about yoga (and life) in a truly authentic way. Contacting them just weeks before my trip to India, Krishna and Smrithi kindly welcomed me to join in all the classes taking place as part of the 200 hours course during my 5 day stay. I will be forever grateful... Though only there for a short time the full daily schedule made for such an enriching experience and I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from such wonderfully inspiring teachers and fellow students. The accommodation is clean and comfortable set in a beautiful garden - the flowers, birdsong, sunrises and sunsets are all an absolute treat! The food is delicious and plentiful! And it was a privilege to meet

I discovered Shrimath 3 years back from a friend I met backpacking. She really sold me on it so I signed up. Little did I know how much this place would change my world (back then & even now after returning) I felt 3 years prior I was given a lot of tools and insight to what traditional yoga was and is. One thing I love about Shrimath/Team is the feeling you're part of something. There's ressources shared after and they keep in touch via a large what's app group of all the students! I thought this was beautiful. Coming back was like a feeling I was going to see old friends and family & that didn't disappoint. This time around I came to go deeper into yoga and practice and being back here a 2nd time I've integrated a lot more and these tools have already shown effects on my

We are outsourcing some work to a partner in India and came to the country to meet the team. They surprised us with a day at Shrimath Yoga on the day of departure. This was a delightful experience. A highlight was getting to play with the children at a nearby school, but frankly so many aspects were incredible. The food is divine, fresh, and expertly cooked by his wife. I’m so glad I got this experience.
