Springs Hotel & Spa is roughly five kilometers from the hip and happening downtown, which should be a short drive elsewhere, but not in congested Bangalore. That said, if you're in Bengaluru for business and little else, I would recommend this hotel for its clean rooms with ample amenities, like a in-room safe, fridge, mini-bar and a balcony that looks out to a drab industrial area but a view is better than feeling like you're locked in solitary confinement. Breakfast was tasty and had good variety. The hotel is a short walk to the Lal Bagh Botanical Market and the original (according to locals) Mavalli Tiffin Rooms. I consider this hotel a solid three stars/business hotel. I didn't get to try the swimming pool and spa, which would've raised my perception of its worthiness to be classified as four stars.

Accommodation: 4/5. I occupied the spacious studio room, which was sizable and comfortable.

Bathroom: 2/5. Despite its large size, I found the bathroom inconvenient. The jet spray was malfunctioning, the shower didn’t switch to the tap, and the temperature fluctuated drastically between hot and cold, never reaching a consistent level.

Dining: 3/5. The food was adequate but fairly standard, with a limited menu. Unfortunately, I was unable to partake in the buffet breakfast.

Service: 2/5. There were issues with service. The staff member tasked with clearing the table after meals neglected to clean it. Additionally, when I needed assistance with an early 5 AM checkout, my calls to reception went unanswered.

A notable grievance was my inability to access the pool. Despite being informed at check-in that the pool was open from 7 AM to 7 PM, I arrived at 6:30 PM to find the area darkened. After requesting the spa occupant to switch on the lights, I discovered there were no towels available. Upon seeking a towel from reception, I learned that the pool had been closed due to chlorine mixing, information I would not have known if I had been provided a towel initially.

Lastly, I noticed a discrepancy in the menu where the same item is listed with two different prices, which was confusing. For instance, steamed rice was priced at INR 200 in one section and INR 180 in another, and I couldn't discern the reason behind this discrepancy.

The dining expenses were notably high, exemplified by the INR 50 charge for a 1-liter Bisleri bottle.

Room size nice , restaurant and pool are good ,AC, city view ,nearby Urvashi theatre and MTR hotel.added advantage.
Bathroom fittings, glass doors are pretty much worn-out and need immediate replacement,
Hand flush are time to replace that doesn't meet the requirements of basic std of 4star hotel.

Delay in getting room, even after having called and told the exact time of arrival (5 pm). The 'top of the line' suite has not been painted in years, with marks on the walls and general dirt and dust everywhere (the soles of my feet were dirty after walking barefoot). The lving room couch has holes in the upholstery and a dirty look, with several stains on the leather. The location is dusty, dirty, and busy. The shower has no pressure, even though the faucet just below has a lot of pressure. Very bad service at the buffet omelette counter, and if you want to get a dosa. And to top it all, I got a suite that someone had smoked in, you could smell it as soon as you walked in. With the delay in getting the room to begin with, I did not ask for a replacement. All in all, I would definitely not call it 3-star, much less 4.

We found the rooms to be very noisy at night with constant honking of horns at all times of the night and howling street dogs in the neighborhood.

The bathroom had a bad odour and repeated complaints resulted in superficial spraying of disinfectant which masked the smell for a day but it returned soon after. The bathroom had old fittings. Even the toilet flush wasn't working well.

The room was spacious and so no complaint there. However the bed was not very firm and so caused backache. The breakfast was decent but not outstanding.

One of the criteria in choosing the hotel was the availability of a safe in the room but I was shocked to see that the safe was not attached to anything. So anyone with some strength could literally walk away with the safe, defeating the purpose of having a safe! Despite that we kept valuables in the safe. Because of the noise on the first night, we asked to be moved to a new room. In the process of the move, I believe we left behind a jewelry box in the old room, something we discovered several days later. I immediately contacted the front desk, only to get a weak, unenthusiastic response about checking for it. They never contacted me back to inform me of their finding. When I contacted them the next day, they said they hadn't found it.

I found the reception staff not really customer-focused. When there was not a customer at the front desk, they chose to sit in the back room. Also the staff seemed to be junior/inexperienced. I did not see a manager at almost any time.

Overall the hotel did not provide adequate value. They have a lot of opportunity for improvement, especially in terms of customer service, bathroom hygiene and overall upkeep. Also they should look at sound insulation.

It is very near the parks and the mall but away from the city noise. Had a very courteous staff and their restaurant is top notch. Very clean, spacious and no disturbance. The pool was too cold and no option for kids. Had to overstay 2 hrs more during checkout (after 3 days of stay) , resulting in one of the staff informing us that we may need to pay penalty. But this was quickly sorted by other staff members who were very courteous and understanding. We left the place very contended.

Noise levels are high in the room and if you ask the front desk they choose to ignore the request.

3 different people all sitting at same place acted surprised everytime I raised the issue.

Breakfast is passable.

Room size is good.

Hotel is equipped well but service personnel’s are not we’ll experience to deal with people, Lady on the front desk is more Bureaucratic than a service provider . Suite room toilet is having any privacy .. toilet door system to be changed . Also can consider with check in time as customer travel from long distance … mostly people reach in the morning time

Awful experience. The room was foul smelly. Pathetic service. The bath towels were damaged ones too. No action even after reporting to front desk.

Noisy and dirty surroundings too.

They even charged Rs 200 for a duplicate key (even a 5 star hotel doesnt charge for duplicate key).

Not at all recommended. Better stay away. Not to get carried away with those bright photos posted on their portal.

Hi. Are the rooms quiet or can you hear traffic noise from the road?
Answer from Gm S

Although rooms are made sound proof, still a little of traffic sound will creep in. Traffic density after 10 pm is quite low or nil as the street across is not a state or national highway.
