A home away from home, excellent hospitality rendered from all staff who are the real warriors at this time, treating us like their own family. Very hygienic room; served with the best food which was enjoyed with lush thick greenery view and various birds chirping in peaceful atmosphere. In the hustle bustle of Bangalore city this place is surely a stress buster !

I booked to stay at the Leela Palace Bangalore last September before anyone could imagine what would take place across the world. It was a special trip planned to take my mother to India, a place she had always wanted to visit, and Leela Palace was due to be our last stop on that trip. We arrived in India and travelled down to Kerala where we found ourselves placed in enforced state quarantine after just a few days. This threw our whole trip into disarray and we could not leave the state, let alone the country after the planned duration of our trip. The dates for lockdown kept changing and I was in constant contact with the Leela to book and rebook new dates based on constantly changing travel restrictions. We managed to return to Bangalore and arrived at the Leela Palace on 24th March. We were met at the door and the situation within the hotel and the City was explained to us. Essentially the hotel was on lockdown with just a small number of guests, of which we were three, and most of the public areas were closed. Throughout their explanations they were warm and welcoming and reassuring. The hotel is stunning both inside and out, so beautiful and well kept and such a rarity for anyone to be able to see it in such an open way. The suites are just beautiful and the care and attention of all staff was exceptional, they could not do enough to help and never stopped smiling. Every request we made was met with a smile and even the need to secure vital medication for our extended stay was carried out efficiently and successfully. The pool area was opened so that five of us could sit out in the gardens (whilst maintaining social distancing!) and enjoy the surroundings. An area in a lounge and outside in the gardens was opened so we could have a change of view to eat our meals. The food was exceptional and despite the very small number of guests, fresh cookies and chocolates were made and left for us every day.

I travel extensively on an international basis and have stayed at many first class establishments but this will always be with me as one of the most exceptional places I have every stayed in. For any hotel to operate at such a high standard, and show such care to their guests in such difficult circumstances, it has to have exceptional core values and standards and the hotel and staff should be very proud of themselves. Despite the ever changing circumstances and moving goalposts about when we might be able to get home to the UK, we felt safe and secure and happy and this is entirely down to the amazing staff at this hotel. This is truly what separates the truly great hotels.

I cannot wait to go back and experience the Leela Palace in all its glory, buzzing with people and bars and restaurants as it deserves to be, and I recommend to everyone to stay at this outstanding hotel when visiting Bangalore. A special word of praise to Farzana, Pratik and Jayant although everyone was truly outstanding. I cant wait to come back and see you all in more normal times.

We stayed last weekend as we were tired being at home.

This Palace hotel is no less then a Resort in midst of a busy city .

We were upgraded to a Royal Premiere room by Abhishek and his team at from office.

All safety measures were taken care of with Leela Suraksha program.

Team offered us a warm welcome with kids amenities and best part was separate welcome letter for my 8 year old daughter addressing her as Princess 👸 made her feel top of the world.

The team at restaurant was flexible and were there to cater my odd requests with a Smile.

Thanks to Tsering and Kabita for all your assistance during our stay.

Chef Purshottam and Lokesh were very helpful in getting our preferred dishes out of the menu. Awesome food. KUDOS to culinary team.

I shouldn't miss the Housekeeping team which welcomed us with flowers in the room. Smallest of detail been taken care of eg. When we came back to room my charger was nicely placed ,understanding we had coffee in the room extra sachets were kept along with extra bottles of water.

Overall a memorable experience and would love to stay at The Best Hotel in the Country - The Leela Palace Bengaluru!

I stayed at the Leela Palace between June 23rd and June 30th 2020 for my mandatory institutional quarantine in Bangalore.
The room I was allocated was comfortable and the view from the balcony was scenic and green. The parrots and mynas chirping in the morning woke me up every day.
The hotel room had everything and even many surprises like Jacuzzi bath which was not expected in single rooms.
The food was delicious and they even offered south Indian varieties and complimentary fruit salad for every meal. The service by the staff was par excellence. All the staff members at the hotel took the necessary safety precautions. The hotel was reluctant to provide laundry service and many did not opt for it for obvious reasons. The covid screening was arranged by the hotel for 650Rs. Unfortunately, the results took longer to come and when I requested for the quarantine certificate to apply for the e-pass took longer than usual. The checkout process took longer due to health certificate issuance delay. But the hotel provided lunch and necessary services for the transfer of luggage. Leela Palace is highly recommended for institutional quarantining in Bangalore...

It was first step after months to think for a holiday. And we were still reluctant to travel out station with our little one. So we decided to be at Leela palace Bangalore for a night stay(club room) to celebrate our special day. At Leela, Abhishek and his entire team made us really feel comfortable with the surroundings and safety protocols. The hygiene standard of room, sanitising kids chair before every use and a set menu to minimise contact are few examples which made us feel relaxed.
The cocktail hours need a special mention. The walk around the property itself made us feel refreshed.
All in all, a great stay and memorable experience which can be lived multiple times.

The level of service at the Leela is off the charts. I've spent four times the room rate in other exclusive resorts and they couldn't match the service here. Every base is covered. I did ante up the extra money for a club level room (5th and 6th floors) which gave me access to a separate restaurant, billiards room, and two club lounges; one of which has complimentary drinks and apettizers throughout the day. Perhaps the stay would have been a little different if I weren't on a club level room.

The entire facility is wall to wall, ceiling to floor, marble; except for the massive columns throughout. The room I was in had hardwood flooring which was really nice. Each day they refreshed a tray of chocolates (made in the hotel), fruit, and bottled water.

I should also point out that although the rest of the city suffered from frequent daily power outages (very short in length), the Leela never skipped a beat.

Amazing getaway in the city.
Shout out to guest relations Ankita and F&B Melina for their hospitality and making the stay amazing.
May consider going back just for the yummy dosas served at breakfast.
Plenty of water bottles were also provided in the room itself and it helps to limit external contact.

What can be better?
TV was non functional for all practical purposes as it just shows the in house menu
Limited space to walk around in the garden.
Parking can get crowded.

Tip: breakfast in weekends should be had early about 7 am onwards. By 9 am it gets crowded.

Even if it was a short visit, a day long- the whole experience was wonderful.
The property is a beautiful one and brooks no doubt on that account.
And starting from walking in an hour earlier than check in time when we were warmly welcomed and immediately issued the room, a very comfortable and spacious room, to the sanitisation measures being followed with extreme courteousness, and the friendliness with which every detail was looked after made the stay an absolutely lovely one.
Not to mention landing a gorgeous balcony with its view of trees bustling with parrots.
A special shout-out and thanks to Farzana who was the staff who interacted with us, offering late check-out options and then due to our schedules, packed breakfasts in case we were going to miss the morning spread. All with such a feeling of welcome, that it was truly a pleasure to base our days out of the hotel. Would love to repeat the experience again.

Being arrested in the house for close to 3 months, I mustered courage to dine at the Leela, after my patience had given up owing to the global pandemic. Hotel looked deserted and very different which is now termed as the 'new normal.' Minimal but experienced team members could be seen taking charge and following all the hygiene protocols.
Citrus was operational and we ordered a la carte after technology took over right from order taking as you scan codes to see the menu on your mobile phones including that of final bill. I found this the most comforting. Food as usual was mouth watering. Team members were spot on and looked at absolute ease, wearing those masks, headgears etc. They just won me over and I was in awe on how are they keeping themselves so motivated in these turbulent times for hospitality sector.
Spread the word.....these guys deserve an applause. Come over and witness the NEW NORMAL here at this Palace!
