We had a wonderful room service by Mr. Saroj, who was very friendly and gave the best service possible. Overall experience of our stay was elevated by the polite staff such as Saroj, each and every single staff of the restaurant and the valet. Thank you very much, Svenska Team!!
I had booked this hotel for a staycation through MakeMyTrip and upon check-in we came to know that the room was Rs.2500 wherein MMT charged us Rs.4000. We booked this property specifically for Swimming pool but the pool was under maintenance (which both MMT & the hotel did not inform us prior to our check-in). The hotel had already informed MMT & Goibibo abt their swimming pool maintenance but MMT plays the blame game till date. The hotel F&B Manager, Mr. Amit was empathetic enough to understand our issue and ensured we don't suffer cos of MMT's fault.
I advice calling this hotel directly and make the bookings as they have a wonderful staff and can get the room at best rates possible rather than paying higher rates to a mediator booking site.

Svenska is a beautiful property with top notch customer service. Food was varied and delicious, and the staff were very friendly making it a very comfortable stay. While the gym facilities could be expanded I really enjoyed the rooftop pool giving a glorious view of Electronic City. Rooms were extremely well-furnished and I enjoyed the Wii console - which I haven't played in a while. Overall, a luxurious stay topped off with amazing service.

Had been in this hotel on the 10 to 12th June 2022.
Had very bad experience at this place.
The gentleman at the check-in was totally indifferent and not at all cordial.
We had to cart our luggage and on entering we found the bathroom not cleaned properly. The toilet seat was broken, there was an yellow patches on the pot.
There was no hot water on the 10th and 11th . They gave a bucket with immersion rod with frequent follow up to give it back as other guests where waiting.
Any query or queries took at an hour to respond.
To our suprise our door open all of a sudden with someone entering. It was hotel staff with a client,he moved off saying sorry.
A pathetic hospitality.

Subir, LAL and Priya staffs are very nice and friendly! I like them
The hotel is a little bit clean, very nice and good omelette! You can get drinkable water free completely and you can borrow spoons, folks, bowl if you need.
I think I will come back this hotel in the future.

I enjoyed my stay there. The room were comfortable but not the best view. The location was brilliant, the breakfast was great...you need to tell them what you want in your breakfast. The omlette and what kind of paratha. The bathroom was clean but it had some cockroaches (small size) which didn't harm me. I loved the shower. Unlike other hotels where you have to pay for extra water, they didn't hesitate to give me water as much as I want. And it was inhouse water in glass bottle which i believe is eco friendly.
The tv didn't have any channels. Sad. But I logged into my hotstar and watched the world cup match. I just don't know how to lower the ac down so I had to put a timer on it. It felt like 15 on a 30 degrees that I set. I stayed 4 days without any trouble.
Oh my wife was I'll for one morning...they gave us breakfast for her in the room.
The tv didn't have any channels. Sad. But I logged into my hotstar and watched the world cup match. I just don't know how to lower the ac down so I had to put a timer on it. It felt like 15 on a 30 degrees that I set. I stayed 4 days without any trouble.

If you look at this review please consider your stay, this is not a 5 star hotel!! All the photos online are not recent, i was moved rooms three times because the aircon was not working, the rooms are not in good condition, they are quiet grimey and dirty. The toilet water had a seal over it and the taps had limescale.
I stayed two nights and have now moved to another hotel for a similar price which is head and shoulders above the Svenska! I wont mention any names so this review is not seen as a promotion for another hotel.
The hotel sadly doesnt have any atmosphere, and is extremely run down, the gym is has equipment that is not in working condition and when i went into it the aircon wasnt on so was unbearable. The swimming pool on the roof is not as advertised on photos, again looking run down and dirty.
Although this is by far the worst 5 star hotel I have ever stayed at, i would call it a 3 star at most. The staff were really friendly, helpful and tried there best to sort albeit they could not as they admitted they have been having issues with aircon for a while now. The internet is flakey so if you are travelling for work i would not suggest as you wont be able to connect to Teams/Zoom etc.
Having only been there since Saturday night I requested a refund as i told them I was leaving this morning, and although my stay is until sunday they refused to refund me any money! I am now trying through my credit card and booking.com to get my money back.
Please dont make the mistake i did as someone travelling from europe that this is anything near a modern swedish hotel, it is run down, poor quality and soulless!
Trying to get my money back the manager just said no, i think they are used to these complaints about the quality as they woudnt even entertain a conversation They even offered me a 50% voucher for food if i left a good review! A good hotel would not need to do this.
Again do not stay!

I further have noted your concerns about Air con and have shared the same with the team. We do high occupancy of close to 85% and mostly receive very positive comments on the hotel. Cleanliness, upkeep and maintenance of the hotel is utmost important and we do have a dedicated team both in Engineering and Housekeeping who work on this day in and day out, but never received complaints from any other guest who were staying during that period. As a gesture to your complaint we even upgraded you to our Luxury suite to ensure you have a comfortable stay with assurance from the management team for the balance stay. We also noticed your booking was on discounted tariff which was non refundable and non cancelable. We sincerely hope to meet up with your expectation the next time you visit " Svenska Bangalore" I would appreciate if you could give us the opportunity to serve you better. Definitely not worth the price you pay.
Starting with the covid safety, the food delivered to you in the room will be brought uncovered and the guy serving without mask, so do not order anything in-room, don’t know about the restaurant.
Wait for dead long for hot water in the washroom, dirty linens, faulty bins
I got my room upgraded by paying 1500 extra, now I hope I would have not done that.
Other hotel brands are there to choose eg Zone, Bloomrooms etc

As a part of the menu we do not have pork on the menu but can organize as per guest requirements.
They have eggs and some pastries but it's mostly Indian. The Indian food is a lot better quality too.
