We had a booking from 11th - 13th Sep,2020 and the stay was absolutely perfect. A day before checkin we got an email for Online check in where in ID and other details were required to be filled. On Arrival our bags were scanned and sanitized and we were given a QR code for the Health Declaration form which was mandatory as per State Govt Norms. Mr Himadri was kind enough to upgrade our rooms to a Junior Suite as well as gave us the information about the different protocols and changes had taken place in the hotel during the Covid Era.
We had taken a Half board Package which Included Breakfast and One Major Meal. We went for Lunch on both days and the Menu was a Set Menu for both Breakfast and Lunch but however the Restaurant staff was kind enough to serve us dishes as per our taste.
Everyone starting from the Security to Hotel Staff to Chefs were wearing the masks and some wearing Face Shield. Hand Sanitizers were placed all around the hotel.
The rooms also looked cleaned and all the rooms had a table outside the door and the housekeeping /In room Dining would place the required things on the table so that everything is absolutely contact less. The hotel has a three day Housekeeping rule wherein the Housekeeping staff would enter the room after 3 days and if anything was required in between then Housekeeping would keep it on the table outside and the guest can self service the rooms.
The checkout was also contactless. I got the Information Invoice on the email with the link for the payment and after couple of hours got the Final Invoice as well.
The stay had been quite Wonderful despite the ongoing Covid fear in the entire country.

I moved from Germany to India and was recommended hotel Vivanta for a stay by a colleague. I first started visiting hotel in year 2018. Ever since this has been my choice of stay whenever I am in Bangalore for work which is almost every month. Everyone at the hotel excels in hospitality! Every special request is well taken care of. Mr. Himadri Rai takes very good care if that. The food is delicious and its a pleasure interacting with Chef Kaushik and Chef Shawn. They always ensure you get what you want as per your taste. The breakfast buffet is scrumptious and It is a pleasure to have Afreen there, who knows exactly what I need and I have my coconut water and masala tea even without asking for it! I have never seen anyone more polite and considerate! Mr Singh watches very closely that everything is well taken care of every single day and makes you feel at home. I once had a leg sprain and Merlin took such good care of me that it dint feel like I was away from home to the extent of offering to apply all the ointments. Vivanta also has an open bar “Tease” that is a great place to spend sometime in the evening. For people looking for authentic north indian food, their restaurant “Terracotta” serves delicious food and I love their Dal Makhni! I could never go back to any other hotel after my first stay here. I would definitely recommend the hotel to all national/international travellers to whitefield!

Stayed at Vivanta during my business trip..the rooms are comfy and the staff very friendly..i was stayin for a longer duration and the staff did their best to make me feel at home..
special shout-out to Carunia for being thoughful and decorating my bappa wth flowers!! Thank you to the tech guys for helping me connect to the music system that made me feel in my own room! The dining area staff- for always checking on my special preferances and the concierge staff(Prabu) for checking on my how my day was!! Thank you Himadri for accomodating my requests! and Thanks to the hotel for small surprises offered during the stay!!
Also with the current corona scare the hotel staff paid extra attention to maintain hygiene and checked temperatures of people entering the hotel.. Overall the stay was excellent and I will definately come back..

Here is my overall experiene about stay at Vivanta. 1)Arrived Bangalore from Andhra by Road (Car) which usually pinches our energy levels and made us tired alot 2) Ms Aijaz person at reception received us very well and made us to check in contact less which was a nice thing to see. 3) Ms Aijaz was completely empathatic and quickly helped to completed the check in and escorted us till the room. 4) The room is like nothing but a small portion of heaven and it was house cleaned properly and arrange everything at respective places. 5)On 2nd Day we had our breakfast which is more than a delicious intake. 6) Mr Himadri the director of rooms name has to be mentioned specially over here for the care that he took and making sure that we are having comfortable stay all the time till check out. 7) Not sure about the name but at Latitude ..A person always cheers us and querying about the comfort while having breakfast made us to think that we are at home . 8) Its not one or two persons..Each and everyone in the staff were taking of care of us and our stay all the time..
A big Thanks to Aijaz and Keenan who made us our stay very smooth.. Hoping to stay again.

This hotel just two miles from our residence, was offering ridiculous rates for the festive season. We booked a suite with two bedrooms, a dining cum living area to spend our grandson's fifth birthday. The staff, right from security, reception, to housekeeping and restaurant staff, followed strict Covid protocols, masked and gloved at all times. Breakfast was good though the spread has been curtailed. Restaurant staff were exceptionally helpful at all time. Bed was comfortable and rooms had all the required and expected furniture. Toilettries were restricted but available on request. Toilet rolls of poor quality. The toilet being glassed was a negative point and embarrassing as well. Particularly in the toilet attached to the suite. If there are guests putting in the living room, activities in the toilet is clearly visible. Moreover the toilet did not have a hand bidet for washing. This should be rectified and perhaps a drop down screen attached to the bathroom door as was observed in the shower stall glass panes.

I had gone to Taj Vivanta Whitefield Bangalore to attend the wedding of a colleague. I arrive all decked up in a saree and wearing my favourite high heeled ethnic footwear to go with it. I park my car in the basement and walk up the hallway to the wedding hall and just as I am about to enter- the heels of my footwear just come off.. just like that leaving we standing on 1 foot wondering what to do now.. it was quite an embarrassing situation given all the decking up and now in a dilemma as to how can i walk bare feet... and suddenly I see Mr. HIMADRI RAY, already having noticed the situation by my side, reassuring me that he will do his best to help me out. Even as I was contemplating going back home to change my footwear, he had already made arrangements for a cute little pair of jute slippers to be bought to me from the spa and he took away my broken footwear and safely packed it , left it in the concierge for me to collect later. I could enjoy the evening without any stress and felt extremely grateful to gave been assisted by him. Kudos to his observant and extremely helpful attitude even though I was not a customer at the hotel. I would give him 11/10 stars just for the stress free feeling I went about with all evening. Thank you and keep up the hood work Mr HIMADRI, you are a role model for aspirants in the hospitality industry.

The room was okay. Had an issue with size if the bathroom , Setting up temperature for AC, room was bit smelly. Room service when asked for clean up and any toiletries was very delayed . i had to literally request multiple times to get my room cleaned.
The service at the restaurant is too poor and bad , Staff was not attentive. In spite of telling /requesting multiple times for something very simple like cutlery couldn't get it ..even a simple order they would take around 30 to 40mins to get it for you .
Best part of my stay was my experience at SPA && bit during my breakfast .. The staff were really very courteous, helpful and always with a smile.

An impromptu stay. Usually it would be at the Marriot and since due to unavailability, got into Taj Vivanta. And oh boy was it memorable stay. Located inside the ITPL, and was bit skeptical looking at the elevation from outside. But the moment you step in, it was total contrast. Rooms are excellent, the buffet spread was very good. Especially the head chef who literally was given personal care to each and every table. Most profound care was the greeting from the senior manager everytime you cross by. These tiny guestures speak volumes about the care taken to their guests. From the front desk till the valet attenders everyone was professional at peaks. Very neatly maintained, by far the best gym equipments I have seen till date. Most of the other restaurants or bar were partly working perhaps due to post COVID. Only drawback were the lighting system in the rooms, where i prefered they could have a seperate light switch in the bathroom, instead of a switch where the lights are interconnected . It was big pain for early birds to avoid disturbing others while sleeping. This could be looked into.
