We had a pleasant stay. The club room was spacious, bright, and well lit. The 3 restaurants covered all our food desires, and the fresh air circulation through zest and treetops was really appreciated. The overall look of zest and treetops made being in these areas a pleasure. We received terrific service from all the staff including M Kondaiah, Sporthi, Darshan, Narayanan. They strived to meet our every need swiftly. The baths in the rooms were spacious and well maintained. The rain shower and the hand held shower coupled with ample hot water were indeed nice. Most rooms didn't require a plug converter, but some did. We stayed 11 nights here. The laundry service was prompt. The snacks/ bevvies in refrigerator were temptations. The location is fabulous at the top of Lavalle Rd, Cubbon park and UB City, st Mark's road shops were nearby. We walked everywhere. The side of Cubbon park is closed to cars every day all day making it van extremely nice place to walk. Close to children's amusement park in Cubbon park too. Since we were working from our rooms, the Internet access was good but flucuated. Better Internet is crucial but it was always available. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

Room was very spacious and clean with a pleasant smell. There was a big sized bed, small table with sofa and desk. Minibar is also available. Bed lining was soft and clean and bed itself was comfortable for sleeping. There is AC control mounted on the wall.
Bathroom was very clean with hot shower and small shampoo/body wash/hand lotion squeeze bottles mounted the wall. There is towels, toilet paper and bidet available. You might now find hair dryer, but is available on request.
Food at Zest was delicious. There was plenty of various types of South Indian, North Indian and continental foods (for all those ones like me that can not have spicy foods). Room service is available 24 hours.
Regarding WiFi connectivity, it was very good. We were provided codes for two devices only per person which was enough for us.
Payment can be made with cash or card (even international).
Note:
Check in and check out process was very smooth. Staff is very courteous and friendly.
Definitely we’ll stay here next time we are in Bangalore!

Packaged food kept in our personal carry bag in our room was taken away by housekeeping without informing us. Upon requesting to speak to the general manager Mr Srinivas, he refused to meet or even come on a call with us. When plates and cutlery is requested in the room, no one sends it until you remind them every 15 minutes. Mineral water bottles in the room which are complimentary in all 4 star hotels were chargeable exorbitantly. Overall very bad experience.

I can see from your comments that we were not able to live up to your expectations, especially in terms of the cleanliness of the room, food and beverage and other facilities. Your Southern Star hotel experience is unusual and not the standard of our hotel. I am extremely concerned about your comments on the courtesy, competency and responsiveness of our team members. Just to give an update The food which was removed from the room while cleaning was half consumed from the previous day and it was smelling, generally leftover food with a smell is always considered for cleaning. However, our team would have to check as a caution. The duty manager responded to you on time and offered you the service recovery with a full meal which you denied and insisted on a free room for food. Where we show responsibility for the damage done to you. We would be still happy to offer you a service recovery in a value proportion. Still, we are open to inviting you for a complimentary breakfast or lunch at our hotel for both of you. I request you to please treat this incident as non-representative of the Southern Star hospitality experience and give us another opportunity to make amends. Rooms are fine.. But it feels like the hotel staff lacks in the hospitality. For a 4 star hotel we expect the room to get cleaned daily but everytime i had to call after all day waiting to clean the room, and even after that out of my 5 days stay, one day nobody came. Also the wifi in the room are of no use as i was getting speed of less than 1mbps and mobile signals also don't work here. When you complain the same they send somebody to your room who always says let me just restart the wifi and then never return. I have had the breakfast in the hotel and that is the only good thing that I find here.

Reception staff is very caring and proactive. Had a comfortable midnight check-in. The restaurants are good, and so is the bar.
Room cleaning is uptime ,and staff is very diligent in making sure guests are comfortable.
Patient follow-ups and greetings had been wonderful and had made me stay twice already. and will be visiting in Jan again

As we arrived, we were served detox water drink it was refreshing. Rooms are tidy. We like the Breakfast ,enjoyed to the fullest.we Had a wonderful and relax stay. Just a one night stay but excellent it was. Modern well equipped room, comfortable with all the usual 4* facilities. Good variety of food for breakfast. Helpful staff even advised a taxi from the airport would be cheaper than their shuttle!
