Only Food quality need to be improved required more variety of different dishes and main quality required. Other services and cleanliness good , staff also helpful, hotel location central, over all its good experience.
I usually don’t like to write a negative review but this was an usual situation. We booked for this hotel after seeing the reviews on trip advisor for 7 nights as we got a good deal through Agoda. However, after arrival at the hotel to check in they advised that we had no booking and the hotel was no longer affiliated with OYO and hasn’t been for the past 9 months, so we had paid in full but had no actual booking and the hotel was booked out for the night and as travellers from Australia we were left desperate to find somewhere to sleep for the night with lots of luggage after a 12hour train ride this was not ideal. The hotel is called West Fort and the reception staff were kind in letting us sit in their foyer while we booked something online which we are appreciative of so it’s not anything against West Fort hotel itself but the issues is that these online promos for the hotel as “OYO WEST FORT” on here and Agoda need to be taken down ASAP as this hotel does not exist. We had paid for all 7 nights through Agoda and is a long process to get our refund so we were fortunate we had enough saved to book elsewhere otherwise this could have been very bad situation! We had to call OYO which took time and although they were apologetic they offered us refund or to book us into another OYO hotel (we chose the refund as the hotel they were wanting to put us in was cheaper then what we had paid). To get our refund we had to also call Agoda.com which involved being on hold for a while and it can take up to 30 days to get money in our account. Luckily we were able to work things out ok in the end but was not ideal situation and thought it best to alert others as this is not clear advertising. An option we learned is to make sure you don’t pay for all nights and call the hotel first to make sure it matches what you see online when booking as this was the first time we experience these issues. …
1. Quality of towels and other bathroom accessories needs to be improved 2. Room AC needs overhauling to be more effective. 3. There is need to replace the refrigrator. 4. A notepad and pen / pencil is required in case someone wants to write or note something. 5. Basic amenities like slippers, shoe shiner, dental kit, shaving kit, iron etc. will make stay more comforts. 6. There should be variety in tea bags. Loose tea bags gives shabby look. 7. Bring some eatables in the room, mah be o paid basis. 8. Need to improve on room service . 9. Food need more variety. 10. Almiraha in the room need to be a little bigger with more partitions. 11. Wifi is very basic offering almost in every small hotel. 12. Quality mattresses and pillows needs to be improved. 13. Bring some tissues box in room or bathroom…
The rooms were great. The food was, on the other hand below par as they were very stingy to offer any fruits or even fruit juice for breakfast. They also didn't have a good spread for buffet meals. The reception was very friendly and helpful but the female staff assistant at the restaurant was very unpleasant and unfriendly as well as being not courteous.
We celebrated our daughter's first year birthday and it was awesome. Very friendly staff, specially the manager Mr. Ravindra treated us like a part of the family. Superb ambiance and well maintained. Though prices are slightly on the higher side, it is value for money.
The property is around 2-3 km from the central area of Majestic, located (4/5) near a mill residential area with the City Metro station just about a KM away. Rooms very well maintained with prompt housekeeping (4/5). Comfortable beds. Room service (3/5) was mostly prompt but the food was just about average. Dosas were unexpectedly small with the sambhar not tasty. Calls to room service were not attended to many times. Complimentary drinking water bottles were not supplied without prompting and they were some local brand (Aqua Relax!). Paid-for bottles were Aquafina! Check-in/out were speedy, hassle-free.
Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Good room service and facilities. Bathrooms were very clean. Location was very strategic. The restaurant was pricey and food wasn't a value for the money. Breakfast that was served was good. Overall we had a good and comfortable stay.
Visited the city for official trip and this hotel was suggested by one of the friends. And.....i was not disappointed. Location is easy to reach, with many places of interest close by. Staff is very helpful and well mannered. Hotel is primarily vegeterian and food is good. only thing worth improving is the spread at buffet breakfast.
This superb new property on magadi road (minarva complex) has really made my two day's bengaluru the memorable one. Excellent rooms with lot of room for natural lights... Best interior & facilities ( electronic safe.. Freeze.. & tea cattle. Enough lighting options made my stay really pleasant. No need to say that bathrooms & linens too were of highest standards. Best & polite staff with quick service.. Fantastic breakfast spread (even on request at 7am as well) with yummy taste & gr8 pricing made it per fact hotel to stay. To sum upp- nice property.. Gr8 service & food.. Best price.
