Don't waste your money this place is full of bed bugs. When we spoke with the manager he even admitted that he can't assure that his customer's rooms will be bug free. When we first alerted the staff that there were bed bugs in our room they moved us and there were bed bugs in the second room as well.
I booked a room in HOUSEFINCH RESIDENCY, Bangalore on 2nd March 2022 and checkout at 10. 50 pm on 3rd March 2022 am not even 12 hours. I was guided by CARZONRENT, Airport, Bangalore. To my astonishment and the interested customers, I was charged Rs. 2500 wheras when i enquired on the chat, the rates was Rs. 1200. Who is cheating the customer ? HOUSEFINCH RESIDENCY OR CARZONRENT but the customers should never follow the big mouth of the hotel as its a sheer case of cheating the needy customers. I have the receipt as well as the record of the chat whee its says the rent was Rs. 1200 and the receipt where they charged me Rs. 2500. NEVER VISIT HOUSEFINCH AND NEVER EVER FOLLOW CARZONRENT... ITS A JOINT VENTURE OF CHEATING BUSINESS..
It is rather close to the airport and hence if you have to catch a flight in the next couple of hours, it is a place to sleep. For the facilities offered by this hotel the rent is high. They don't have a full fledged restaurant and you will have to satisfy yourself with what they can offer!
The ambience of the hotel was good. But the room we were provided was small. We were three people in our family and wanted a room to stay for the night to catch the morning flight in the morning. We had dinner which was as we ordered in the dining room. But we did not get the complimentary breakfast in time, so had to skip it. A lack of enough hotel staff was felt.
I spent one afternoon and one night in Housefinch Residency. I chose it for the location and the price. My room was comfortable and cosy. Food is really good and I loved my breakfast. Staff is helpful and nice.
I booked it using booking.com. i selected only one person but we were two people (men) traveling and the reception refused to allocate room for two. later on paying 1300 they gave a room. the room was interested with mosquitos. very small and conjusted. avoid booking it at all cost. you can get much better 🏨 hotel for lesser. there breakfast was also terrible. i hated it.
tHIS PARTICULAR HOTEL offers variety of valid reasons to stay comfortably, within short distance to airport and well connected to major satellite towns of Bangalore like Yelanka, Mekhrio Circle, Railway Station, Krishnarapuram and of-course southern side of Indira nagar and its eastern counter part Cox Town and Whitefield. Ameanties are quite good and satisfactory. Individual rooms are well maintained with daily change of linen,, fresg mineral water, and toiletries There is enough light and every room has window TV is offering all channels of every state of India and is quite a sound and fantastic entertainment tool with remote Every room has mosquito repellantmachine. The overall services and cordiality at reception, dining laundry, room services, dining hall matters and even security was very good and at place. They refused tips despite given which really shows management have trained and made them self sufficient. Travellers need to bring only their changing dress and other personal wear. Fresh towels, soap, coconut oil sachets and mineral water are given generously despite competitive tariffs which is customer oriented and friendly. I personally feel,m as I ahd said for all other hotel, every room needs a wall clock This will help the travellers to often check their wrist watch and mobile to know rtghe time …
A upper middle class or middle middle class people can NOT adjust in this hotel. Only lower middle class people can adjust here. Pros: 1) Courteous staff who are quite helpful. 2) Person in the reception can speak english fluently for a small hotel. 3) A small restaurant is there, so guests can order food. Cons: 1) No lift for a 5 storied building. 2) Double room size is so small and quite congested. 3) Maintenance is not up to the mark. Definitely not for sophisticated people. Dont get carried away by seeing Hotel pics in any website.
Location: a bit hidden but near airport, just some 10 minutes by taxi. But, announced 'airport transfer facility' (=taxi), HAS TO BE PAID for. That is, guests are left in the dark till departure time. Room: really budget, but clean. BUT: no extra towel -big or small- available from housekeeping, not even for double occupancy. Till we complained to the manager.... Food: nice Good: 2 scales at entrance to check one's luggage Safety feeling (for female travellers): minimal
I ask them for details of local restaurants. They say there are none and I need to get a taxi for 3 km away. Not true. There are local small stores selling tea, food,. at local prices. There are 4 good restaurants a few minutes walk away. I check in they do not take me to my room. Yesterday, I ask for masala dosa, they say it will take 10 minutes. It takes 1 hour. It arrives very very greasy, no veg sauce, wet and soggy not like masala dosa. This is at 5.30 am. Today I ask for same, they say cannot do it. They say I cannot have tea and veg sandwhich (the only vegetarian options they say) until 7.30 even though when I went down to kitchen area yesterday they did it at 5 am. I ask for some food to be kept in fridge, they say yes. They kept it in non refridgerated cupboard. I spend 10 minutes telling them about another thing I need, with google translate because their English is so poor, but they still do not understand, do not help,.. Room is ok, nothing much to complain about except electric socket is big fire hazard, oozes out sparks. Location is horrible, on 4 lane highway.…
