At Ladakh Sarai the intention is inherent in building vivid experiences that inculcate a true sense of the culture and traditions of the land. And while we ensure our essence remains intact, we strive to re-create your stay in a brand new way. The premises of Ladakh Sarai are now home to an additional building that overlooks the Stok Range of the Himalayas and has unrivaled views of the quaint and surreal village of Saboo. Rise at the break of dawn to watch Himalayan Hues and shape shifting clouds dance around a mighty range of mountains. Experience the jagged peaks of Stok Kangri be covered overnight by a white sheet of snow. Step out onto the deck of your private balcony for an early morning session of Yoga in the stillness of your surroundings. An abiding amalgamation of comfort and luxury with nature, the grounds of Ladakh Sarai offer a profound sense of peace and solitude seldom found elsewhere. Six beautifully appointed mud huts, 4 Duplex family suit with two private balconies in each Duplex, 5 beautifully chalet rooms with separate living room and private balconies. Each the rooms over looking the beautiful Stok Range. Two heritage rooms an old Ladakhi family home of 150 years of History now adorn Ladakh Sarai as our Heritage Wing.

Stayed here for two nights, which included our first day of acclimatization. This is a little away from Leh proper, so not too much to do around here. The property itself is nicely made, and blends well with nature. The views that you get are amazing - can see the mountains clearly, as well as some of the valley. What we liked a lot was the service orientation of the staff - always willing to help, and take care of small requests - and the food. Had a few meals here, and everything was pretty good, especially the breakfast. Felt the property needs a little sprucing up, and there were a few minor glitches around some in-room appliances that needed multiple rounds of intervention to fix. Overall, very nice stay and would recommend to folks wholeheartedly, especially for the start of your Ladakh trip.

Great property and away from the hush hush of Leh city. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was great and helpful. Only issue we had was with wifi. They were very confused about the password and the concoction was not good. Also we had complementary lunch and we were told to eat at any of the restaurants upon our arrival but after our meal we were asked to pay us as this was not part of the package. Please make sure that you are clear in your communication.

We had a very comfortable and beautiful stay at Sarai. It’s no doubt, one of the best priorities in the region and the best in Leh. It is probably a 10 mins drive from the city centre surrounded by nature and away from the hustle bustle of the city which makes it perfect. The rooms and cottage have the view of the mountain ranges so you literally wake up to that view every morning! Also, the food is excellent and the best we had in whole of Ladakh. We stayed there twice in one trip because once just wasn’t enough! The staff is very hospitable and you will definitely feel looked after. They have an absolutely beautiful yoga space with a breath taking view! The best space I have practiced myself in so far. I would absolutely recommend Ladakh Sarai to anyone wanting to spend some time in Leh.

Visited Leh for the first time and stayed at the Ladakh Sarai and absolutely loved loved it. The property and service is beyond par. We had no expectation on food but this was beyond belief. High quality across its entire menu which is so extensive and the chefs are excellent. What stands out most though is the personal touch that Rigzen (the owner) brings to the experience. He personally attends to all his guests and ensures that each one is taken care of and takes such care that he makes it feel like the warmest home. All his guests end up as friends and that percolates into the atmosphere. I ended up making lifelong friends just because the space brought us together. It’s a space of true connection. A must visit. This is where I would stay anytime I’m back in Leh. Thank you Ladakh Sarai for a lifetime experience.

Destination Holidays Mumbai's Pooja Gandhi had organised our Laddakh tour which ended with three nights stay at Ladakh Sarai. This was definitely the cherry on the the cake.It was simply a superb way to end a superb 14 days trip. Many thanks to Mr Jalam ,manager Mr Jigmet and very warm thanks to Mr Rigzin for making our stay extremely comfortable and memorable. The decor of the rooms ,the fantastic views from the massive varandah of our rooms made the stay enjoyable .I must also make special mention of the highly trained and warm staff of Mahendra,Rohit ,and the rest .The chef made the most scrumptious meals. The pan Asian restaurant served yum food which we enjoyed. What is worth mentioning is the architecture of the place made it possible to have our privacy, amongst other guests , as tables were placed in different corners of the dining area...in Covid times this feature we really appreciated. All in all a thumbs up for Ladakh Sarai.. looking forward to staying with them again

We booked a full Ladakh trip and stayed at Sarai in Leh, Nubra and Pangong. With respect to Ladakh Sarai, the stay was quite good. We stayed for 3 nights at the mudhouse. The room was slightly smaller but adequate for a couple. There is alot of open space outside the mudhouse to take the chairs out and sit and enjoy the view and the weather. Pros:- 1. Food is good overall 2. Service throughout is out of the world. Every request is quickly responded to 3. The views are quite nice 4. The 4-6 PM high tea and pakoras is quite nice Cons:- 1. Slightly away from the market and so once here you cant go out for dinner etc. 2. The whole booking process (we booked through them directly) was a bit tedious and i needed a lot of followup for conformations etc On our last night we had food at the high end restaurant syah which in in their premises and that was a great finale to the trip. All in all we had a good stay and would recommend this place. Tx, Akash
