It’s definitely the best option for your trip, you get to enjoy the beautiful view and it’s very calm, with no bustling city noises. You can go walking to the riverside of the Indus River. The connectivity is good. The premise is very clean. The rooms were very spacious and had multiple windows to get a view of every side, it’s just beautiful! The food is absolutely tasty and appetizing, not just the local dishes but also Chinese and other Indian dishes are delicious. The people are very friendly and helpful, they make you feel at home. I highly recommend this hotel; you will undoubtedly have a great time!
This property has got excellent view - Mountain and trees. Unlike the other LEH hotels overlooking market, streets, buildings this one though little outside is worth for the views it has from almost all rooms. After sight seeing you got 3 areas to sit in group. 1) The lounge was our favorite place while it was cold outside. 2)The garden (small) with swing and chairs let my group have a pleasant time in sunny morning. 3) The library is a perfect place for a group of max 15 to spend evenings. The rooms are well-maintained, clean and have superb view. They got few twin double bed rooms. One on 2nd floor with 3 side widows has best view. The Owner Tashi, and whole staff are really very helpful. Never say no to any request. Restaurant was nice. We stayed for 4 days. On request the prepared a few dishes in buffet. Overall very nice people. Things to consider > Its not in city so MAIN market is far. > Dont miss the Bollywood cafe 1 km far. > In the hilly region limit expectation from any Hotel.…
Excellent location, 6-7 kms away from main market, however best place to stay. You get mountains surrounded by and beautiful view anywhere from the hotel. Rooms has multiple windows and from bed you get this view. They serve food, avoid eating outside, their food is less oily but excellent for whether and delicious. Friendly people, helps you on making all arrangements, we felt like home. Owner Tashi is a good man and works more for charity than self leaving.

Excellent Services, Most polite staff, Luxurious rooms and peaceful environment, Great Views around. Mesmerable environment. City heart location, within 5 minutes to Leh market, on Indus river bank More than satisfying.
I decided to visit Leh Ladakh in the last minute and didn't make any plan. Luckily I landed in Ratna hotel and guess what, the owner Tashi became my extended family and took care of us. We never felt that we are in a new city (far away from Bangalore). They prepared food of our choice (we were 4 people with different dietary habits!!). Tashi's family went out of the way to accommodate our choices. They gave timely advice and arranged the complete package. We stayed in Ladakh for 9 days and Tashi took care of us with all the arrangements (food, lodging in other areas, transportation). I can say that they are my family now. I strongly encourage fellow travelers to consider this place. Hotel itself is like a paradise, surrounded by nice mountains and Sindhu river. Its so peaceful that you can forget all your stress…
We had 10 days trip to Ladakh and stayed with Ratna for the days in Leh. The hotel is in excellent location nice view with snow capped mountains and away from the hustles of the city. Mr. Tashi was a great host and he took good care of us specially with the food as we don’t have onion and garlic in the food. Rooms are clean and he provided us with hot water when needed and also gave us a room heater as it was pretty cold. He also arranged for our travel to nubra valley and pang gong lake and tso moriri lake in an economic cost and helped us with stay in those locations as well. Overall a great place to stay and a great host to interact and learn about Buddhist histories and monasteries in Ladakh.
