Gomang Boutique Hotel is situated at a picturesque location on Changspa Road in Leh-Ladakh, India. The hotel boasts well furnished rooms with breathtaking views of the Himalayas. The Gomang is the only hotel in Leh to offer an oxygen/ library lounge to alleviate your high altitude symptoms. Gomang Boutique hotel is one of the best hotel in Leh. The property is well maintained with a touch of luxury, the staff is very very helpful, courteous and supportive. They are quick to respond and extend warm hospitality to the guests.
Mr Gurnam who is owner of the hotel is super courteous and takes into account the minutest details to keep the guests comfortable, he has been extremely helpful.
Overall, I rate the property as the best in Leh and recommend everyone to talk to them before you plan a trip to Leh.

*Memorable stay ! * Home away from home in Leh Had a delightful three nights four day stay at this lovely Gomang boutique hotel, Leh. I went for my own birthday celebration at Gurudwara Pather Sahib and to see beautiful valley of Leh with family of 5 adults .!! This was our first trip to Leh and after going thru various hotel reviews we selected Gomang ! Great about this property is certainly the personalised and focussed hospitality on offer. Extremely well trained and well mannered staff and best of all is the owner's Gurnam Singh Ji zeal to offer an experience of a lifetime with personal interaction with all guest to understand their plan and any special requirements. Then briefed us for altitude and precautions to take particularly avoid dehydration. His property is neat and clean,equipped with all emergency requirements of altitude sickness or any such eventualities. Although I missed my Nubra valley trip on his advice as two of my family members had headache and suffered altitude sickness, but for the day, to our comfort, he arranged for other sights and local market without altitude variation. This break from my planned tour gave us an extra boost and a joyful and memorable trip rather then a sickness spoiled trip. He also arranged a very humble and understandable cab driver, who accompanied us thru our stay . Location is also within the city center, rooms are good with all modern facilities and cozy dining hall and the food was delicious including buffet breakfast. Special thanks for arranging yummy birthday cake .
Fantastic lounge with a collection of thousand books on all floors. Well maintained small garden area to enjoy a sip of coffee and a view of ice capped mountains & clear blue sky.

I stayed at the Gomang Hotel for 4 nights and the stay was comfortable in all aspects. Room was spacious with clean bedding and a Cappuccino maker in room was a big bonus! Their entire staff is very very courteous and always happy to help with anything. Hot water is available which is very important as mornings are chilly. It's a small hotel with 15 rooms and interiors are nicely done. Food here is superb! Breakfast spread is good with mostly Indian dishes like poha, poori chole, paratha, pakora etc. There are also fresh fruits, cereal, eggs which is more than enough to fill one up. Lunch and dinner is freshly prepared and the food is really good. Location is perfect as it's 10-15 mins drive from airport and Leh main market is just 10 mins walking distance.
Special mention to Mr. Gurnam Singh Ji for being so very helpful. He helped arranged cabs for all the visits around Leh with trustworthy drivers. He also shared important insights on acclimatization process and was always very polite. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Leh!

My family and I had a very comfortable stay at Gomang Hotel in Leh. The small boutique hotel offers all amenities and the staff was very helpful with organizing trips. The owner Gurnam Singh contacted us before our trip and informed us about the travel situation in Ladakh during COVID which was very helpful. The hotel is located in a very peaceful part of town close to Shanti Stupa but still only a 10-15 Minutes walk away from the Main Bazaar area in downtown Leh.
The hotel has several relaxing areas with loads of books and a nice outdoor area. The overall theme and athmosphere is very calm and peaceful which we as a family really enjoyed. Our request to have two rooms nearby was met perfectly giving us two very bright and spacious rooms opposite each other. The breakfast was enjoyable and the Indian dishes we had for dinner were also very tasty.
Under the current circumstances with certain restrictions due to COVID the staff gave their best to meet all our expectations. We definentely recommend staying at Gomang and will sure come back.

We ended our memorable trip to Ladakh with a stay at Gomang. And bless the angels, what a great decision it was. Our stay at Gomang, although brief, was absolutely comfortable. The hotel has been made with a lot of love and is maintained with a lot of passion. Spotless rooms, clean bathrooms, and an ever-smiling staff would normally have been more than enough to impress us, but what made our stay truly memorable were the long and thoughtful conversations we had with the owner Mr Gurnam Singh ji. Gomang is conveniently located, requiring only a few min of walk to the main Bazar while also being far enough to enjoy the quietness if one wants to. Would love to stay again here.

I had been to Ladakh with my family (wife and son) from 20th May to 29th May 2022. I planned the itinerary such that Leh was a central location and out of 9 nights, we spent 5 nights in Leh. (2 nights in Leh, 2 in Nubra, 1 night at Pangong Lake, back to Leh for a night, 1 night at Tso Morori, and 2 nights at last in Leh). I luckily (due to online reviews of the hotel) got in contact with Gurnam Singh ji, owner of Gomang Boutique Hotel and that was the best thing happened for our trip. Gurnam ji guided me with the itinerary. He also helped me for hotel booking in Nubra. He arranged an Innova for the entire itinerary. Since it was my first trip to Ladakh, my anxiety was way high considering AMS. He guided me with entire information. Also assured that in case of emergency, they have all the arrangements of oxygen supplies in the hotel. He also provided a oxygen cylinder in the Innova and an experienced, knowledgeable driver who can take care of any kind of AMS emergency, if arises. Since we were well prepared, confidence was very high and we did not face a single health issue during our entire trip. Health conditions and our breathing was exactly the same as if we were in Mumbai. Many thanks to Gurnam ji for such wonderful arrangements. Gomang Boutique Hotel is top class (Bright star in the sky). Excellent luxurious arrangements are provided in the hotel. Even an Espresso coffee maker is also provided in each room (I have travelled all over India but never came across such Espresso coffee maker or milk stirrer in any hotel room). It was indeed home away from home with all the luxury. Food in the hotel is awesome. Special mention of Mr. Tsewang Dorjay. He was always available for any support/information required at all the times. Dorjay Saab made our stay fabulous. Hotel staff is well taught and well mannered to handle guests. Mukund Thakur on the front desk was very helpful as well. Ladakh is so beautiful and our trip was a grand success with the support of Gomang Boutique team. We left Leh with a promise to ourselves that we will visit Ladakh again and we will stay in Gomang Boutique to relive our memories.

The best hospitality experience ever. If you want to enjoy and worry less while travelling to Leh just book gomang hotel and I promise you will not be disappointed. The owner MR. Gurnam singh is such a nice and humble Hunan being he is available 24-7 for his guests . We had some breathing issues on our first day and Mr. Gurnam made sure we get proper oxygen and all the other medications. The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful they even arranged things for us on short notice . Honestly it didn’t feel like a first time visit it felt more like a family home. Thank you for this unforgettable memory. Also they have some very good chefs so that you can enjoy some lip smacking food

Gomang was truly a one of its kind experience for us. It was an absolutely enchanting experience which we will cherish for life.
The entire staff was amazing which accentuated the lovely cozy property’s feel. Neat & clean property. Well organised, hassle free, very courteous friendly staff.
The rooms were pretty decent & hygienic with top notch amenities in place. The sitting area with sofa & end no of books at each floor is really worth mentioning.
Also one can view fresh water stream at the back side of the hotel & we experienced full flow of glacier water falling through during our stay. We clicked quite a lot of picture.
The property serves vegetarian only fare with egg options along with quite a bit of fun experimentation. The chef prepared the food as per our less oil preference & yet the food was delicious and super tasty..
The Gomang team provides highly personalised and professional advice and support for tours in Ladakh with knowledgeable driver and good vehicle. The driver was so good you will never feel unsafe & insecure.
We are short of words to stop praising about the experience at Gomang & more particulary of Mr Gurnam Singh (owner of the boutique hotel) who is polite and takes into account the minutest details to keep the guests safe & comfortable. He has always been exceedingly charming and helpful at its core!! One can blindly follow his advise which comes from his grey hair and you’ll enjoy the place.
Lastly there could be other comparable hotels in Leh with respect to location & other facilities, but if somebody wants to feel “stay at home”… this is the sole option.
One can not forget the impeccable hospitality extended by the Gomang team.

Honestly I chose to book this hotel based on good reviews, but I never expected that my own personal experience in Gomang would exceed far than the reviews I read !!
Ladeep and Mukund at the reception showed their hospitality even before we checked in as they gave us a warm welcome and ensured that we are checked in to the room of our preference. Ladeep and Mukund helped us with our every single request with utmost priority. Be it a cup of coffee or booking a cab, they never delayed anything even by a minute.
The room was very comfortable with all necessary amenities, comfortable bed, TV unit, room heater, clean bathroom with hot water etc. Amazing sitting place with hundreds of books collection. A beautiful balcony that had breathtaking view of mountains.
The location of the hotel itself is in a place that is not far from main streets, yet is away from the regular town area. So we got the feeling of staying in a scenic location but also could access the main streets easily.
Ladeep and Mukund booked cab for us punctually on all the days we wanted to go for sight seeing. Our favorite driver Dorje was so friendly and cool. He took us to all places with great friendly attitude. Bike rentals shop is at a stone pelting distance. So we never had any issue with transportation.
Food was really amazing and tasted like home cooked. Easy on digestion and very tasty vegetarian food. Rana and Babloo in the kitchen were so hospitable and very kind to serve us what we needed at all times, always with smile ! They even took care of some dishes we ordered that were not in the menu. They were very friendly and always talked to us with great care and smile.
All people at Gomang behaved very kindly and caringly at all times. We only have good experience from our stay which will make us to come back here whenever we plan to visit Leh in the future. Thanks Gomang for making our stay so memorable and lovely. See you again !!

This hotel has very helpful staff and Oxygen concentrator available (free of charge). I travelled with my father and noticed that my Father's oxygen level dropped to 65% and he was feeling feverish. The staff promptly arranged for oxygen concentrator in room, which brought his oxygen to 99% and made him feel comfortable. A trip to the local tourist hospital was also arranged. All taxis for local sight seeing and Nubra-Pangong were arranged by Hotel. The hotel also helped us book Hotel in Nubra Valley at a time when it was difficult to get bookings.

It is quite safe to travel with kids aged 8 and 3 during the month of July. July and August are considered as the best months to travel ladakh due to it's warm pleasant summer temperatures. Oxygen levels also raise during these months due to the additional green cover.
Good amount of rest on the first day is highly suggested.
There is an efficient Govt Hospital in close vicinity and quite well equipped for oxygen related issues.
It is not at all late for booking at Gomang.

Meat was very rare everywhere but the vegetarian meals were divine and I’m definitely not Vegetarian.
We took Gin and asked for ice and the staff were very accommodating. No problems except finding Tonic, only in one shop in Leh.
You’ll just love the place.

Well, I would say, any physical activity, for first 48 hours, is difficult. One laughs a lot or walks 500 mts will be breathless, due to low oxygen levels. So ....
There are more places to choose from in the Leh area.
