Leh Stumpa is a Guest House run by a traditional Ladakhi family. Tucked away from the noisy bazaar, it is located on the peaceful Upper Tukcha Road that is not more than a 10 minute walk away from the Centre of Leh Market. Along with running the guest house, we have a farm from which you will be able to enjoy freshly 'picked' meals. Located around 900 metres from Shanti Stupa, the hotel is also an 10 minutes walk away from Gompa Soma. The property is non smoking throughout and is located 1.7 km from Namgyal Tsemo Gompa. At the hotel every room comes with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a kitchen, a dinning area and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a shower. Leh Stumpa features some rooms with mountain views, and the rooms include a balcony. Guest rooms will provide guests with a dishwasher. A buffet breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. The restaurant at the accommodation service Indian cuisine.

Leh Stumpa is a wonderful place to stay a Home away from Home. Courteous staff and the family members too are sweet and hospitable. Food is yummy and tasty and their special Ladakhi dishes Skyu and Khambir were really awesome. Beautiful place to stay at and scenic beauty too is great. Really enjoyed each day of our stay would highly recommend the place for a great vacation with family and friends.

We stayed at this homestay when we first arrived in Leh and before we left. In between was a 4-day road trip. The homestay helped us to store our storage before we were back. The room is spacious and clean. The courtyard is a big bonus, where our team gathered and took pictures every morning with the blooming orchard trees in spring. If you're a fan of taking photos, you should consider staying here. The biggest plus actually goes to the best staff we ever met. Even though we cannot communicate thoroughly, they are super friendly and helpful. Basic breakfast became more enjoyable when they actually helped us to cook our special requests. This helped a lot when some of our members got sick when trying to adapt to Ladakh's climate.

Leh Stumpha is a home away from home. It is run by Stanzin and his wife Rinzin. Rinzin personally cooks all teh meals and they are delicious. You can request for Ladaki food and you wont be disappointed. Yasir is the manager. He was prompt and made sure all our needs are taken care off. Really a great place to stay and would recommend it to all my friends. Cherry on top, 10 mins walk to the Leh Market. Stumpha has it's own parking, so if you are driving, you have a place to park. Would recommend to book the rooms on top floor for better view.

Nice place to stay. Rooms, food and staff all the things is very nice. They treat us as a family member not as customer. Hotel Location is also very peace full and very near to central market just about 10-15 min walking distance.

A home away from home. Ensuring that you are comfortable and cozy from the time you step in. A wonderful home stay amidst the snow capped mountains. Amazing view and walking distance from the market. Excellent service by the owners family (Stanzy & Rigzin) and the team (Yaseer). Great advice in the initial days to ensure guests aclimatize and enjoy the stay. After a trip to few places in Ladhak wanted to come back home (Leh Stumpa) Well connected and able to help locally. Keep up the good work and spread the joy for many more families.

The location, the room, the cleanliness are top notch. What to say about the service, Yasser and Alishan will win your heart with in hours of reaching there. The owner and family staying besides to the hotel itself and more than an owner they will behave like your family. So happy with the stay there. The food served are very delicious and they serve by heart. The hotel is hardly 1 km from the leh market and evening shopping is not an issue. The leh palce too is with in 1.5 km range. Both the palace and shanthi stupa are visible from the hotel along with the snow mountains around the city. The hotel have an open kitchen and sitting area planted with apple and apricot trees. Overall a happy experience at here. Will recommend this hotel with confidence and pleasure.

This Homestay is a family business run mainly by Stanley and Rigzen. It is a wonderful piece of Leh. The place is very clean with comfortable beds and hot water and Wi-Fi which works well. It’s a Homestay not a 5 star hotel , so if you want to stay somewhere authentic in Leh with beautiful gentle people this is a good option. Rigzen is a great cook . There is a garden to sit in and some rooms have balconies. Highly recommended. Rigzen can also provide good shopping advice.

We had a great stay. Clean and Comfy. The food was great, the place is magic...I'll go there again! :-) last but not the least, yaseer made us feel like we are at home. Great hospitality and warm behaviour we got from him.

We stayed here for 3 days - 29th and 30th apr,2023 and left for Nubra and Pangong. The stay was so pleasant and more importantly the host was so courteous which kind of pulled us back to this place on our last day of our trip on 5th May. We were group of 6 friends - including 2 couples and enjoyed a lot. The host provide homely food. We opted for breakfast and dinner. They even customize the menu on demand with some minimal charges. Thanks to the host Stany. Special thanks to Yasir bhai who makes all the arrangements. We were stuck in Leh due to flight cancellation by Spicejet at the last minute creating a panic situation. Stany and Yasir ensured they leverage their best network and arrange a smooth economical exit via Leh to Kargil to Sringar to Jammu to Hyderabad. This was the best support. Many thanks.
