Stayed in last of June 22. Great experience. Food was excellent specially for North Indians. Services and rooms were also top rated. Hygiene maintained of top quality. Sh. Arun and Sh. Pal Singh were very co-operative.
ago Me Arpita Kanjilal frm Kolkata stayed in this hotel frm 8th -15th June 2022. Firstly I will thank Mr Sonam Wangdus fr making my Leh Ladakh trip so memorable. He was the generous person made all the arrangements frm fooding, lodging & itinerary. Every part & parcel of his contribution was fabulous. Waiting eagerly to visit again.
Visited with family and had a great trip. Mr. Sonam is a thorough gentleman, a very humble and down to earth person and he made us comfortable from the moment we checked in at the hotel & ensured a hassle free stay, and went out of the way towards arranging of our Nubra and Pangong trip(s). The food is good, & the property is nicely maintained too, overall a great ambience within the hotel premises. Loved the great, positive vibes and would definitely love to visit again soon. My best to the team at LHR, and I'd recommend this property to anyone wanting a great Ladakh trip. A BIG thank you to Mr.Sonam Wangdus once again for extending all possible help, and support during our trip to Leh.
Very nice stay. Excellent sense of hospitality, very nice food quality. Above all Excellent services. Thanks to the team of Ladakh Himalayan retreat. Will suggeat to everyone.. Homely feelings. Lovely services.
We had stayed in Ladkah Himalayan Retreat for a good eight days during our visit in Leh, returned just week. After a decent amount of investigation, analysis and searching, I had booked this property a couple of months back. Given the innumerable hotels and guest houses across Leh, it was quite a task to square down a particular property, specially when you are travelling with family and kids. And after coming back, I am happy to report that this has been one of the best stays and experiences we ever had. Won't call it a 5-star rated hotel, but the services and quality they offer often had exceeded what you receive from any top rated resort and hotel anywhere. Accomodation: clean, fresh, specious rooms with everything you need. Food: full length breakfast buffet, and even richer dinner buffet, with plenty of veg and non-veg options available. Service: you call the reception for anything, and the guy is there ringing your door bell in the next minute. Location: a cool 10 minutes walk to main Leh market, you won't feel a thing. No point of measuring distance from the airport, since most of the hotels in Leh are almost in the range of 20 to 30 minutes distance from the airport. Tour handling: we had assigned the responsibity of arranging taxi, hotels in Lubra and Pangong to Mr. Sonam himself. And I am glad I did that. Everything was organized and executed like a smooth machinery. The driver provided was also quite gentle and proficient in his job. Special requirements: they had given an oxygen cylinder along with us whenever we went out of the town. Arranged a quick cab to the hospital when my son was not feeling well after arriving there on the first day. All in all, if you are planning your holiday to Leh in season and after, look no further for your stay there. You can choose Ladakh Himalayan Retreat with complete trust. All because of superb professionalism and humble humanity of Mr. Sonam. All the very best to the entire team of LHR.…

High quality of service and attention , Amazing food,Staff are amazing the rooms have been comfortable and immaculate. We couldn’t dream of staying anywhere other than Ladakh Himalayan Retreat 🏻🏻🏻
Had a wonderful stay at LHR. Nice ambience in common areas and open garden with dining option. Neat rooms with room heaters/electric blanket and good food buffet both veg and non veg provided. Wifi provided. Hot water supply between 7:00-9:00am in the morning Note to traveler's: Prepaid SIM doesn't work in Ladakh. Carry postpaid SIM.
We, 4 families went in for a short trip to Ladakh and stayed in this hotel for a week. Approach from Airport is quicker and very near. Rooms are clean and neat. The Dining area is maintained hygienic. The green lounge is looking pleasant with the Snow top icy mountain view. Astonishing ! The weather is healthy. When we went Pangong & Khardung La pass visits, we asked for a Oxygen Cylinder and the hotel provided it from their stock. They also said it will be charged ONLY IF WE USE IT. That was really appreciable. They are providing as much as support they can. They have a Cloak room facility as well. They provide a free computer with internet for Web Check-in purposes. The suggestion for an add-on service would be the Room Heater service & the Hot Water supply. They are already having a room heater, but its being operated on a automatic thermal timer based which is not enough to have a good sleep in nights. When the climate is freezing cool, and the heater goes off for an hour...needless to say that we can't sleep continuously. Likewise, the hot water supply is also very limited. We have to finish our morning routine and take shower before 8:30-9:00 AM. Later on, you will not get a hot water. They say that the system is working with Solar energy support. But in the morning, we are unable to get hot water when the Sun is high above head. They really need to work on that issue. As we were having planned visits to several place, we didn't have a complaint on hot water as everything went on with our time schedule. Only after returning from our visits, we faced the hot water issue. So.. not much bothering. OVERALL, Ladakh Himalayan Retreat is really a welcome place for visitors and can have a assured peace of mind.!…
