The welcome Kahwa made our introduction to Leh.The staff are so cordial and they take care of each and every lodger.First day they always advice persons to take the evening off and rest ,to acclimatize.The dining hall is well stocked up.We had nice breakfast and wonderful dinner.The bed had heating and bathroom was clean.

Had booked this property for03 nights , but vacated the same immediately after the first night since the room was small, crammed and very dirty with stinking quilts. Had to get them exchanged. The window glasses were all stained, the dinner and next day breakfast quality was just so so. There was no soap stand near the shower. Overall a very unpleasant experience. The location is not very good since it is surrounded by other properties of similar height. Had booked it online based on the excellent review but it was a total dis appointment.

Stay was awesome. All amenities were provided. There was oxygen on call service available. Mr. Arvind, the manager there had been really very warm and welcoming. We felt very homely. Also the breakfast and the dinner buffets are available with plenty of options. The location of the hotel is very convenient for the guests to have a stroll in the nearby leh market. Overall experience is amazing.

We had 2 night stay at Hotel Nalanda Ladakh. No issues encountered. On second day, my wife fainted due to dehydration. The immediate support that I got from the hotel staff and specially Mr. Tenzin was amazing. They checked oxygen level and immediately gave oxygen for a while. Thereafter, Mr Tenzin took us to the nearest hospital and performed all basic formalities; my wife was admitted for around 5 hours. This was our first visit to Leh and I was not having much idea. Mr Tenzin took the charge like a family member and helped us in getting appropriate medical help. I can’t thank him enough, he saved life. Mr. Tenzin, you’re a hero. Keep saving lives !!

Best budgeted hotel in leh, Staff is very supportive and provide extended support. first day they provided oximeter to check oxygen level even without asking. Food quality is also good. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

Had a very comfortable stay at Hotel Nalanda, Leh. The location, rooms, washrooms, room service & restaurant..all is nice! Mr.Stanzin who manages the Hotel (also happens to be the Owner) is extremely supportive and always accessible in case of anything. He planned our trip to Nubra Valley, Tso Moriri and Pangong in a way which helped us to acclimatize well and as such our group of three families had no health issues..whatsoever! He even assisted us courier the extra baggage to our home locations! Sincerely appreciate his gestures!! Also appreciate the prompt services of Mr. Arvind who manages the Hotel front desk. He too is supportive and quite prompt. Strongly recommend Hotel Nalanda for a enjoyable and stress-free vacation while in Leh!!!
