Nice homestay nestled ina small village in Ladakh. Run by a young man, it's his ancestral house and he runs it with his family. Extremely warm and courteous, friendly and hospitable Good place, neat and clean with good veg food made with fresh veggies grown in their farm Gorge their apricot jam and ladakh bread
Our stay at Namra Hotel was the most memorable experience we had. The Hotel is managed by the entire family and they treat each and every guest with utmost care and love. The Hotel Room gives a feeling of ancient King and Queen Suit room. It is surrounded by a beautiful river and has apricots, walnuts and apple trees in the premises, which will make you feel like you have been staying in a heaven on earth. Visiting Sham valley is like exploring a hidden gem. A must recommended place. We had initially planned only one night stay but ended up staying for 3 nights. Hats off to "NONO (The owner) and his family members who made us feel like home.
Namra Hotel at Temisgam is a homely and warm place to spend a few days in. It is a family run resort and great care was taken to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are neat, clean and cosy, the food fresh and wholesome (most of the ingredients being sourced from their own organic garden). Outdoor spaces to relax in are the two small gardens and a patio overlooking the monastery on the hill across. The helpers are polite and accommodating.
A great place, wonderful people and excellent home cooked food...a perfect ending for our Ladakh vacation in the midst of pandemic. We would like to thank Namgyal and his family for taking us around the local places and inviting us for breakfast in their own kitchen. It was a memorable experience for all of us. We would love to go back someday.
People do visit leh, nubra and pangong but this place is a hidden beauty. It is located at 100 km from Leh and has lot of greenery. Talking about Namra, one of the finest stays I have had in my life. The staff is so welcoming and friendly! Special callout to Namgay, he arranged whatever was needed. We even spotted shooting stars and milkyway from here. Do plan a two day stay, there are things you can cover. Food was organic and tasty.
We had a great time staying one night in this hotel. Room was spacious and had all the required toiletries. Food was great. Service from the staff was excellent. Warm and friendly. Plenty of apricots to pluck if u visit in Sept. There have tents and a campsite besides the running river. Would like to experience staying at the tent on my next visit.
I would highly recommend a stay at Namra Hotel. This was my fourth stay and everyone there are so welcoming. The rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable. The food is delicious. It’s a great place to base yourself as you have a look around the beautiful scenery of the valley. I will be back!
Lovely staff, great food, beautiful location and very clean. Will have to return one day soon. I loved the river and the camping option, together with the firepit for reminiscing whilst toasting apples. The electricity went off but just added to the charm of the place.
Lovely location in the village of Tingmosgang. Very spacious rooms with lots of light and great view of the mountain. Good food in the restaurant. We had one night here and would’ve liked to stay longer.
Nice little family hotel - located in Temisgam, a village just 4km out of Nurla and main HW1 to Leh - peaceful location and garden - lot of walks in the valley and villages - large room with view on the monastery and surrounding mountains - great welcome - good food and delicious breakfast - to be recommended
