Detailed Reviews

We stayed at Kesaar Palace for 10 days for a family vacation and for participation in Ladakh Marathon 2023. The location of the hotel is fantastic, just 10 minutes walk to the main market of Leh. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. As a north Indian, the food suited my palette. However, it would have been wonderful to have Ladakhi options on the menu. I was a bit anxious about acclimatization of my 6 year old child and Mr. Bittu, the manager was most kind to move us in to a room with a balcony with a stunning view of the mountains even though we had not booked one. Ms Renu and Mr Dipesh at the restaurant were most attentive, warm and kind towards us when we needed simpler preparations of food due to our acclimatization issues and later for marathon related specific requirements.
The cultural programme organised by the hotel in the middle of our stay was of International standards- very very impressive performaces by exceptionally talented artists!!!
The hotel is a rare find, beautiful, spacious and clean rooms, respectful and sincere staff, decent food, great accessibility to the market as well as the hospital ( for any acclimatization issues).

Extremely clean, good location, fab restaurant staff, good view from the room, are definitely good traits of this place.
This walkable place from the main market, has tons of cafes & restaurants in the vicinity. Our room gave a great view of the Leh Palace & the Monestary. For a photographer like me, it was a dividend to say the least.
The downside of this place is the lack of variety of food options and maybe a better checkout experience. The fact that we don't accept cards which later turned out to be we don't prefer cards, can be minor issues that can be sorted for this place becoming even more popular & successful
