We stayed here as a family of 03 dults and 02 kids for 3 nights in August 2021. The hotel is very neat and clean. The hotel is situated in a traffic free area near the main market and provides decent views of the hills from the top floors. Mr. Shiv Thakur is an excellent host and he took good care of us. The food is just about good. We plucked some apricots and apples from the hotel garden which was a bonus.

The best word for this hotel is WONDERFUL. Check out the hospitality of MR Thakur- Manager and his team. It’s just 2 min walk from maim market. Great Food. Great Prices and Great Rooms. Price range is also very nominal as per the standards maintained.

We were 2 couples who stayed for 2 nights. Like most other hotels in this region, the rooms are basic. The location is not based but very difficult to access with a car. No air conditioning in the room so we slept with the windows open. But there was lots of noise from the street. A fan would have been nice.. But the staff was great and did everything to make our stay a good one.

The Hotel may not be big or fancy but very well maintained. The staff Hospitality is exceptional, starting from the reception to the bell boy. Look out for Lucky, the bell boy, he would help you in all respect. The food is exceptional, though the hotel is near to the main market with may food options, after having food there, we did not try out. Indian & Indo-Chinese dishes are very good. Quantity of a half place is good for 4 of us. But they need to improve in the spread of the breakfast. It is same every day with very few options. The rooms have abundance of sunlight & comfortable at night. Wi-fi connectivity in entire leh region is poor & need to come to the reception. Would recommend you all to say in case you all are not looking for a big name or fancy property.

Stayed here for 4 days, this hotel is situated at upper turkcha road, 10 mins walking distance from city centre market. Hotel has all the modern facilities and it is run by the ever efficient Mr Shiv Thakur and his wonderful staffs. They are always ready to do anything the guests want, even sending food to the hospital when some guests fell sick due to altitude sickness and need to be hospitalized. The wifi doesn't work all the time but who cares!! One comes to ladakh to see the mesmerizing beauty ,not to seat in the room and do net surfing. Food is good, they serve buffet during breakfast and dinner and the menu keeps changing so you won't feel that you are eating same food every day. They arrange for cars, inner line permits everything. One can even keep their luggage in their luggage room if they don't want to take all the big luggage bags to nubra or pangong. Overall had a wonderful stay, will remember this hotel forever.

Hotel Hill Town is an amazing place in the quaint town of Leh. The behaviour of every single staff is exemplary. Specially to name Lucky. The manager, Mr Shiv has everything in order and is still ready to address any issue, however insignificant. I recommend this hotel very highly.
