Hi,
Stayed in this property (Druk Ladakh) for 2 days. Considering Ladakh is a difficult geography, this property offers all the facilities available in plains. It's very well maintained weather it's general upkeep of gardens or common area. Rooms have a great view. Restaurant gives the rustic feel and food is great with good variety.
Their service is excellent. I forget my Calvin Klein shirt there hanging in their bathroom, when i checked out. They drycleaned and couriered my shirt back to my address, and i am very grateful to them.

This experience goes well beyond a hotel providing lodging and food, this was a display of people who actually care, they looked after me like I was their only child. Completely overwhelmed by the love and care on display way beyond doing their jobs. Love to all at The Druk, you are awesome.
Extremely impersonal behaviour of all staff. Generally everyone seems aimless as there doesn’t seem to be anyone to guide them on what needs to be done. Lower floor rooms are leaking and upper floors have beautiful views. Most horrible experience was food. Very average quality, staff has no clue on how to handle buffet, food was not refilled and we had to wait almost 30mins for refill! Even rotis takes 10-15 mins. This is not the experience that we need during holidays.
They need strong manager and chef who can give better service.
Would not recommend this place in leh.
The rooms are spacious with good garden view ( ground floor rooms) or mountain views ( higher floor). There are no balconies. Instead big windows are present. We had 4 rooms and 2 rooms had water logging problem in the bathrooms on ground floor. We arrived around 4 pm in evening and restaurant had nothing to serve except cucumber, tomato sandwich, pakoras and french fries. This was a little piss off.
But the dinner buffet was a luxury. It was quite an elaborate menu and delicious too. Breakfast was equally good.
Sitting in the lawns and watching the birds, flowers, mountains and the rooms was very relaxing in the morning. All the tiredness of coming back from Pangong vanished after a good night sleep.
A very good hotel which can be improved with little more care .

1. I booked directly with the hotel. Honest communication based on value for money and trust governed this process. Today, I can say every penny was worth spent.
2. The day we reached the hotel, I saw my son's oxygen levels drop to less than 60. The person who aided the reservation process sat beside my son's bed administering oxygen and carefully monitoring blood oxygen. He left after 2+ hours only when it stabilized to 80+.
3. This same person organized all our local travels going beyond his role to accommodate last minute changes which were caused due to fluctuating health of various family members.
4. Every morning, we woke up to an amazing view of snow clad Himalayas and Shanti Stupa followed by a generous breakfast. Every night we came home to a sumptuous buffet.
The person I keep referring to above is Mr. Tashi and I have no doubt saying that he and his able team is what makes the Druk feel more like home than a hotel.
When I now read back some of the critical feedback this hotel has received in the past, I wonder if the critics had taken into context that this is Ladakh, one of the most difficult places to live in, much less run a hotel. Gratitude is a virtue oft ignored.
I have no doubt in saying that my stay at the Druk and my acquaintance with Mr. Tashi and the staff has been the most memorable amongst the several unforgettable sights and sounds of Ladakh which has enriched my life, now and forever.
Definitely and highly recommend.
