Detailed Reviews
We had visited this hostel in a group of 8 (5 Men & 3 Women) & we were provided 2 rooms of 6 & 8 bed dormitories respectively for 2 Nights.
Staff was extremely rude & unprofessional. Asad Meraj who is in charge of this hostel had no sense of talking even with our female friends and he used a lot of abusive words.
We had experienced that there was a lot of favouritism given to the selective groups of their personal references.
During our 1st day, we experienced a huge ventilation issue since there was only a single ceiling fan provided in an 8 bed mixed dormitory and windows were not getting opened properly. Beds were uncomfortable & climbing the upper berth was a big task.
Already the oxygen was a little low, so we had breathing issues & our body was getting continuous dehydrated.
There was nobody at midnight to help us. Cafeteria was closed so we were unable to get drinking water from the water purifier. Around 3 AM while we were roaming around the property, one of the representatives informed us to use water from the wash basin which was near to the washroom.
While we highlighted this issue to Asad Meraj the next day, he was not ready to listen to anything, and he was giving us vague answers. According to him we had breathing issues because we were covering our body with blankets. The best solution he could provide is to leave the property & take the refund of money. Also, in some instances he was shouting at my group members.
Staying at Woosah was a nightmare. I will never recommend anyone to stay in this hostel.
Asad Meraj was one of the foolish & arrogant representatives we have ever seen. No sense of talking.

Absolutely incredible hostel! I’ve been travelling for nearly 6 months and it is by far my favourite place that I have stayed. All the staff are so kind, friendly and extremely helpful. The bedrooms + washrooms are extremely clean and the beds are SO comfortable!! There is a nice rooftop area with a cafe with delicious food and a nice place for meeting new people, which was great for me as a solo traveller. Also, as a solo female traveller, I felt extremely comfortable + safe at all times :). There is decent WiFi throughout the hostel and it is in a good location as it is not too far from leh market (about 20 mins walk), with gorgeous views of the mountains.
Overall a 10/10 stay, a great place to chill in between exploring the gorgeous Ladakh region and incredible value for money. An absolute must stay, when visiting Leh. Thanks for a great few days!:)

+1
Recently stayed at Woosah hostel for almost 8 days and had a great experience.
The best part was the precautionary measure they were taking during these covid days.
Neat & clean and sanitisation every alternative day.
Hostel is newly constructed with all the facilities. Hostel owner Sahil is really help full and providing the best experience during these hard days aswell.
Hostel also has beautiful roof top with amazing view. And has 24 hours hot water facility.
They also have TT table along with lot of activities to do of you are traveling and working. Market is 2 mins walk and Airport is 10 mins away. Rooms were pretty good as well.

Extremely unprofessional manager. While the website says free cancellation. They refused to cancel my booking though I had informed a day in advance. On follow-up i was informed that there is a refund possible only if informed three days prior to the booking. There is no policy document available anywhere on the web for woosah. please do not get scammed.

This has been the best stay I’ve ever had. The staff is amazing and recommends the best places to visit. The whole vibe and all the travellers who’ve come there is surreal. You could just chill in there for the whole day and still feel productive.

One of the best and memorable stay of my life. Just because of the place and sahil(owner) and people working there , me and my wife extended our stay for one week.
Its not a hostel but a home . Super clean , amazing vibes, super good food and lovely and amazing people around
If you are in leh this should be the first and best option to stay

Disappointing Experience
I recently stayed at this hostel during my trip to Ladakh, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. The staff, particularly one individual, was incredibly rude and used abusive language, including giving Hindi "gali" directly to my face. NOT FOR MY MISTAKE, BUT THEIR MISS UNDERSTANDING THEY BLAMED US FOR STEALING AND LATER SAID SORRY.
BUT without proper investigation or anything they can't jus blame people and use such low level language. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior, and it left a negative impression on what was otherwise a beautiful trip.
I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects respectful and professional treatment. Travelers deserve better hospitality, especially in such a beautiful and serene location.
