Great modern rooms with balcony and view of the mountains. Good service at a reasonable price. Our room was spacious enough for 3 people. Breakfast was nice with both indian dishes as well as eggs and fruits. Good value compared to other hotels at this level in Leh.

I lived in their suite one night and in standard room couple of nights . I actually loved their standard rooms compared to suites . It was quite spacious and had lovely view of the Himalayan mountains from the balcony. The food here is slightly on the spicier side but they will customize if you request explicitly. Mohammad Raziq( I guess I got the name right😀), very friendly and helpful staff. He made our stay very comfortable and was really there when we needed any help. Kudos to him. I will definitely recommend this place if you are planning to go to Leh for few nights stay .

We, a family of 4, would like to thank Mr Wangchuk Kalon and team for the excellent arrangements and warm hospitality during our trip to Leh, Nubra Valley and Pangong. The staff in Ladakh Residency at Leh (and in Kyagar Resort at Kyagar, Nubra Valley) were very helpful and accommodated all our requests with a smile.

I could tell you about the comfortable rooms, the good breakfast and dinner spreads, or the views from the balcony, but it's really the service that sets this place aside. The owner, Mr. Kanlon, makes sure that he is there when guests arrive or depart and thereby sets an example for the staff. I was down with a bit of altitude sickness in the first two days of our stay in the hotel, and the help given by the staff to my wife and me was remarkable. But even apart from that, the involvement of Mr. Kanlon and the staff in solving any little problem absolutely ensured that I'm going to choose this place again when I go back.

Ladakh Residency turned out to be a hotel way beyond my expectations. The owner - Mr Wangchuk - turned out to be the best host I have seen in a really long time. He is there at the hotel counter from 7 am onwards, greeting the guests who are coming in, making sure they are comfortable, even if the rooms are not ready. He is the best person to connect with in the event of any need - you are looking for a good tibetan restaurant, tips for travel to Nubra Valley or Pangong. or even if you are looking for a doctor. The food is awesome, the kitchen churns out anything that you ask for - from the normal Indian cuisine to specialised Ladakhi food, as much as suit the tastes for the numerous foreign guests who keep coming to the hotel. A word of advice is to look for a room with a balcony - because the view is awesome from there. If I have to choose a hotel in Leh, I will, for sure, come back here, to enjoy the warmth and the hospitality of the place.

Last month visited Leh and for the fourth time stayed at Ladakh residency which for me is just like home A warm welcome a comfortable and caring stay good food beautiful view what else can one ask for Ms Dolma Ms Pazez and Mr Vansh at the reception warmly welcomed me and were very helpful throughout my stay Sonu a waiter I have known for 11 years was there to take care of my luggage as it was lunch time by the time I arrived he served me lunch and escorted me to my room with a view of the snow clad peaks from 5am to 8 pm being a nature lover never got tired of looking out of the window or sitting in the balcony sipping a cup of tea and enjoying the view Location About 4 kms from the airport under one km from the market this newly renovated hotel is an ideal place to stay Being a destination where the first flight lands at 7 am and last at 12 noon the days starts very early from 6 am you can see activity and maintenance staff in action Special thanks to the owner Ms Rinchen who though now takes care of Nubra property came to see me on her visit to Leh her Father takes care of Leh property and was there from early morning helping with a smile I spent a week in the relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere though lack of oxygen and loss of appetite are a price you have to pay if you come to Leh Would highly recommend staying here for all who value comfort courtesy and great view

First of all the most striking feature of the hotel is the service. Few of the people that made our stay memorable are Vansh Thakur, Ajay, Sonu, Abdul Hak, and Rafiq. On top of the amazing service the property itself is very nice. The rooms are a decent size and the bathrooms are very clean. There is a big balcony and an outdoor sitting area. It is very close to the airport and other tourist destinations. To end the review I would recommend this place to each and everyone of you.

Very warm staff. Hotel amenities are pretty good. The dinner buffet and breakfast spread was very good. They provided extra bed for the child which was comfortable. Recommended room#307, 207. This is one of the small hotels, but located centrally with all facilities. The restrooms are good.

Shocking start..... inspite of booking 3 months in advance and that too direct, I was told that my booking not reflecting iin the system, due to someone's clerical error. To be on the safer side, I had pinged Ms. Sashi 3 days before my arrival. However, because of some other error, I was given a room. It was definitely not the best. My question to Ms. Kalon (the owner) - don't you have a process to avoid such errors? Imagine the inconvenience caused to guests? Doesn't it have the potential to spoil someone's trip? I have to term this as irresponsible behaviour. ( No call, no apology from the owners) Another issue - there some major renovation work going on... Don't you think tile cutting or whatever, n having labourers move around on the floor I was staying causes inconvenience n disturbs guest's privacy? Now the reason I still gave a 3 rating. They did give me a room finally. Secondly, the staff was excellent n very polite n did their best to help me. Good job Vansh, Sonu etc. You managed to ensure I have a good time at the hotel. The food was good too!
