It was a very nice property, well maintained, earlier was skeptical about staying in Treehouse but it was worth staying. The best part was of Mr Tashi -the owner’s hospitality, the food spread should have been more. But overall worth staying in it.
Lha- ri- sa in Leh is an excellent hotel surrounded by snow capped peaks. Their tree houses are a very pleasant experience. The owner Mr Tassi Motup is always around giving his personal touch to things and also offering friendly advice. His manager Norbu is very energetic and very very helpful. All the staff are very well mannered and the dining area is a cheerful place with the chef and staff urging us to try the new and local delicacies. Another added attraction is its proximity to the local market. Overall my family and friends had a great time here! - Dr Subhra Dhar
The location is great very close to Leh Market and Leh Town, The hotel is good and very basic however, the new rooms which are the tree houses are great. Food is very good and well made, the staff is very very polite and kind. All in all, if you are looking for not too expensive a place and a good place close to town and market this is a good hotel to stay in.
We went to Leh for a medical camp (as part of a team of doctors from AIIMS). We were put up in Lha-Ri-Sa. To summarize in one sentence, everything was fantastic ! The spacious nature of the hotel campus, the huge lobby area with it's vintage look and feel, the good rooms & food, and the endearing nature of the hotel staff made our stay a very comfortable and enjoyable one. The owner of the place, Mr Tashi Motup, is always available and takes care of everything with a smile on his face. His team is doing great humanitarian service by organizing the medical camps and helping the needy people of Ladakh. We decided that when we come back again, we shall stay here itself !
Visited lha risa resort on our very first visit to Leh. And it couldn’t get any better than this!! Everything is just perfect.. the location, the food, the rooms, the environment, the hospitality!! A beautiful Welcome Heritage property nestled amongst apple and popular trees, the resort is a landmark on it’s own! Check in a smooth process and the rooms are clean and comfortable.. the staff is extremely hospitable (always with a big smile on their faces) and helps you acclimatise and gives you the best advice on everything! They ensure you get everything that you need. The owner, Mr. Tashi is the best host we have ever met.. he will personally ensure all your needs are met and give you great guidance on all your doubts. For anyone visiting Leh for the first time, Lharisa is the best option.. and trust me it will be your choice even if you visit for the fifth time. You have to experience it to believe it! Will definitely visit again!!…
Beautiful place with a lot of character reflecting local Architecture and warmth. The staff is also very caring and courteous. They organized the itinerary for the entire stay very efficiently. I would highly recommend my family and friends to stay here. The owner Mr. Tashi Motup personally greets and meets all the visitors and looks into their comfort .
The place is very nice and cosy to stay in. The hotel staff is pretty good and decent, always ready to help. Food was also tasty and the chef was very open to our choices and altered the food as per our need. Overall a very good place for one to stay in.
A most terrible place. It’s extremely run down and the staff is extremely unhelpful. The bath in my room had lukewarm water so I finally abandoned the idea of having a shower and the flush of the WC had only a trickle of water. The bedside lamps had no bulbs, the blinds didn’t work so I was in a dark, depressing room without any natural light. I wouldn’t make the mistake of coming here even if they paid me stay !!! Extremely disappointing place which may have seen good days but that’s certainly in the past and over !!!
The most comfortable stay. The rooms were very well maintained, very clean and no smell. Housekeeping was very kind and helpful. The food was well prepared. Thank you for the wonderful stay. Looking forward to it again.
It is very nice, good rooms, nice garden, Mr Tashi taught us a lot about Leh.The internet was very slow and the connection didn't reach the rooms, so for wifi we had to go to the lobby. Lots of animals coming in and out, but there was not once a threat to me or my friends.
