We stayed here for start and end of the trip for two nights . The hotel staff team and owner Niyaz were extremely cooperative and gave us very good guidelines for our trip . It is important for all of us to be eco friendly and this was certainly a good approach I liked about niyaz when he explained how the climate change has affected the region for water supplies. Hotel facilities were very useful and location is closer to market and still very calm and have good views to the snow peaks.
Very good place. Love it. Had fun. Really good place. The rooms are good and they have an elevator which helped a lot in this weather. The service is good. The servicemen were quick and polite which is a great thing.
Great rooms and services and also good food. Came here on a trip with my friends for the first time in leh and the environment is really calm and the accomodities are also really great u can carry heavy bags with the help of the elevator

Me and my wife contacted Mr. Niaz, owner of Hotel City Palace asking if he could arrange a iterinary for a 6 days & 5 nights trip throughout Ladakh. Our Iterinary turned out really good and we also had a great time at the hotel. The rooms were large, clean and well kept with heaters available during 6-11 pm. We had hot water available throughout and the hotel provided us with electric kettle as well as toiletries too. The food was good and the best part about the hotel is it's staff, they had a smile throughout and were very cordial and helpful throughout our stay The views from the hotel rooms also were stunning. I would surely recommend anyone traveling to Leh to stay at Hotel City Palace without thinking much
Very helpful and supportive staff. Enjoyed our sray. Would prefer to stay again. Nice breakfast, good ambience if rooms, nice wifi connectivity and hot water available at any point of tine. Stayed here for 4 days
We stayed for 8N at the City Palace Leh, and pretty much used this as base for all our travels in Ladakh. Our friend accompanied for part of our trip, she's stayed in Leh many times before, and each time at the City Palace :) I now truly understand why. A comfortable budget stay, with very spacious rooms (+ clean bathrooms) looking over the snowclad mountains on one side and the Shanti Stupa + Leh Palace views on the other, and come nightfall, the very easily accessible stargazing from the terrace at the hotel. We took a half board plan, and it worked out extremely well for us - food was delicious! Great homely flavours with lots of variety on all days. The staff is also extremely helpful and thoughtful. We love our cold coffee and started each day as such - after the first two days, the staff knew our orders :) Each meal, they'd ensure we got our fresh food, hot rotis and some days even go the extra mile to get dishes that may not be on the buffet that day!! Special mention for Niaz, owner of City Palace, who personally takes all efforts to make the holiday memorable, from finding us the best drivers, to suggesting offbeat sightseeing options, ensuring we had a comfortable vacation all throughout. We visited Ladakh for just under 2 weeks, but still have so much left to explore! Whenever that may be next, we'll certainly stay at City Palace again!…
