We were two families with children and stayed here for 7 nights. What stuck us was the wonderful welcome and help provided to us by the staff- right from the Manager Mr Norboo, who personally called me a few times before I was to land to remind me to take Dimox tablets to counter altitude sickness, to being there at the airport to receive us, to the staff- Mr Wangdu, Ali, the ever smiling waiter, who would always accommodate my request for 'ginger tea' even at 5 AM! to our drivers Mr Jimmy and Mr Shabbir- all were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean, with cozy rooms- and it's situated just 10mins walk away from the main bazaar. The food is really nice- the staff being ever so nice to fulfil our request to make Momos- and that too on a day when we came back really

We had a wonderful stay in Sept 2014. A lovely warm welcome by friendly staff and the rooms are beautifully quaint in a warm traditional sense. I could lie on my bed and view Stok Kangri out of my window and then join my friends for a relaxing drink on the balcony just absorbing the fantastic scenery. It's situated in a fairly quiet part of town so no loud beeping or dogs barking. Toilets work well and hot showers. Free wifi is good most of the time and the food is very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful and it's situated only 10 min walk from city centre. Management was extremely helpful and accommodating when our flights were cancelled for 3 days in a row due to bad weather. Sit on the balcony and just enjoy the view.

We were a group of 6 people and stayed in this hotel in Aug 2014 for 4 nights. The stay in the hotel was very good. we had got a Tibetan style welcome! The hotel rooms were clean and well maintained. The view from few rooms is very good. We had stayed for first 2 days in this hotel. Then we proceeded to Pangong and Nubra valley - returning here to stay for another night. When we went to Pangong and Nubra - we had kept part of our luggage in the hotel only. The hotel staff were very accomodative and helpful. The food was decent. At days it was very good; at days was just average. Though they had made momos as a part of the buffet dinner at our request - and was very good. We did get choice of our rooms - out of the vacant ones. It is located in a quiter place slightly away from

Me and my husband stayed here during our Ladakh tour in September end 2014. There were'nt too many guests then. The hotel is always clean. 24 hours hot water is available. Though one cant always walk to the market due to altitude issues, it just takes 5 mins by cab to the market. Hotel calls for cabs whenever required.Mr. Wangdu managed our stay and tour very well so it was a relaxing trip since everything was taken care of. I would also recommend visitors to take tour packages also from them since Mr.Norboo and Mr.Wangdu will plan everything as per your needs. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Breakfast menu is the same everyday. Food was fine though it dint matter since we'd lost our appetite during our stay there.

We stayed there on our first night in leh and needed lot of support from the staff to know about the town. It was very surprising tibetian style welcome and also provided us a welcome drink. The rooms are like a pent house with a open balcony accessible to everyone. View from the hotel was average, and was accessible to the few bike rental shops which was helpful for us. Everything was good, but the food menu was very limited.

We as a group of 8 stayed there in early August for 3 inconsecutive nights and were impressed by a good hospitality and attentiveness of the hotel staff in particular the hotel manager was very helpful and tended to our requests. The hotel is suitably located in a quieter corner of Fort Road with 5-10 minutes walk to the main commercial area (or about 100 Rs. by taxi). The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. All amenities are in good condition. There's also a pretty large balcony with beautiful flower pots on the first floor where you can sit, relax, or enjoy connecting with the world over a strong free wifi signal. Highly recommend this hotel. The only disadvantage is the hotel's restaurant staff who were rather slow at service and could not serve made-to-order breakfast

We stayed here in Jul 2014, the room was shabby and small. Multiple complaints about this to the Hotel Manager did not help as they do not care about Indian tourists. The hotel staff is biased to have foreign tourists, as they can be charged more. The hotel was worth less than half the price that we paid i.e. 4.5k per night. The restaurant staff was pretty rude, as if they don't care about patrons. The only thing good they arranged was the transport to visit nearby places and the Driver Ali was awesome person to talk to, he knew a lot about Leh and was very informative. I would recommend asking for Ali as your guide/driver.

This is a centrally located hotel in Leh with all modern amenities. I had gone there with my wife an d son in May 2014 and was charmed with the wonderful hospitality shown by Mr Norboo and his team including Ashish, Muzzamil and others. They went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable. They made provisions for early dinner, packed breakfast, etc for my son who is 4 years old. We were absolutely relaxed within 30 minutes of checking in given the warm welcome that we were given along with refreshments, etc. Many thanks to Mr Norboo and his team for making our stay a wonderfully memorable one. Keep up the good work and we look forward to returning soon. Prakash Iyer and family
