Me and my husband stayed here during our Ladakh tour in September end 2014. There were'nt too many guests then.
The hotel is always clean. 24 hours hot water is available. Though one cant always walk to the market due to altitude issues, it just takes 5 mins by cab to the market. Hotel calls for cabs whenever required.Mr. Wangdu managed our stay and tour very well so it was a relaxing trip since everything was taken care of. I would also recommend visitors to take tour packages also from them since Mr.Norboo and Mr.Wangdu will plan everything as per your needs. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast menu is the same everyday. Food was fine though it dint matter since we'd lost our appetite during our stay there.

I visited Hotel Holiday Ladakh in May 2011 with family for a holiday at Leh and was a great place to stay with helpful staff, wonderful views of the snow clad mountains and was easy walking distance from the market area at Leh. We visited Lamayuru, Pangong Tso and monasteries at Alchi, Likir and the Tse Palace, Leh palace and Stok palace - this was a wonderful holiday.

We had a wonderful stay in Sept 2014. A lovely warm welcome by friendly staff and the rooms are beautifully quaint in a warm traditional sense. I could lie on my bed and view Stok Kangri out of my window and then join my friends for a relaxing drink on the balcony just absorbing the fantastic scenery. It's situated in a fairly quiet part of town so no loud beeping or dogs barking. Toilets work well and hot showers. Free wifi is good most of the time and the food is very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful and it's situated only 10 min walk from city centre. Management was extremely helpful and accommodating when our flights were cancelled for 3 days in a row due to bad weather. Sit on the balcony and just enjoy the view.

We were a group of 6 people and stayed in this hotel in Aug 2014 for 4 nights.
The stay in the hotel was very good. we had got a Tibetan style welcome! The hotel rooms were clean and well maintained. The view from few rooms is very good. We had stayed for first 2 days in this hotel. Then we proceeded to Pangong and Nubra valley - returning here to stay for another night. When we went to Pangong and Nubra - we had kept part of our luggage in the hotel only.

The hotel staff were very accomodative and helpful. The food was decent. At days it was very good; at days was just average. Though they had made momos as a part of the buffet dinner at our request - and was very good.

We did get choice of our rooms - out of the vacant ones. It is located in a quiter place slightly away from the market. There is an open balcony / terrace kind of place - where we would spend a good amount of our late evenings chatting, playing cards, enjoying the cold.. All in all a very good experience!

The Hotel and its staff are warm and friendly. We stayed in May 2012 and had a great experience.

The market is a 10 - 15 minutes walk from the hotel but the road gently slopes uphill. The Hotel staff do not recommend to walk uphill on the first two days due to the altitude.

There is 24 hour hot water and the hotel provides hot water bags (A necessity when the avg. temperature was below 10C.) but no central heating.

Definately value for money.

Room Tip: Try and stay on the lower floors as climbing at 10,000ft is quite strenuous if not acclimatized.

Amazing views from room and the terrace, Courteous and very helpful staff, good food, clean rooms, and wi-fi are the +ve's of this hotel.
The only -ve for the hotel is that the wifi is available only near the reception.
Rest its a good hotel. Don't expect it to be fancy.

My friends & I had been to this place for few days in October 2012 and we loved the place.
This hotel is at the perfect walking distance to the main market and is very well maintained.
The food is delicious - both veg & non-veg.
The staff is very courteous and will make you feel at home.
The rooms are clean & spacious. The bathroom too was well maintained with 24 hours water supply. However, we would have loved to have heaters in the room to beat Leh's chilly winter.

They also provide free-wifi which is a great plus. I would recommend this hotel to every traveler visiting ladakh and will surely stay there the next time I go to Leh again.
