Please look for any other hotel. This hotel is overpriced, untidy. Breakfast menu is a joke. Only alu paratha curd and poha. They clean your room only after your request. Initially they welcome you with dirty bedsheets and pillow covers with all kinds os spots on them.

Mr faiz reservation manager suggest me a excellent tour program . within 3 days i was visit many places , Hotel is good for staying , best rooms , good service , Hotel staff is brilliant , all types of service excellent . wifi facility , food , transport , i will suggest friend stay in Hotel New mamta . with regards
Continuation of my last review i.e. Over Priced and Worst. Guess what.....The Manager or Hotel Staff called me last evening just because I published a genuine review about their hotel. He threaten me over call and talked very rudely. Just because I showed them a mirror of real themselves....that's how they talk to their customers. Never book this hotel. I am surprised if reviews with 4 or 5 stars are really genuine or just fake. Or probably, they are biased. I never had such a worst experience. Rather then apologizing, he was very stubborn with adamant behavior. Better get some business ethics and etiquette classes. You have just messed with a wrong person.
It's my first review here on TripAdvisor. Because I usually check it before booking any hotel. However, I was wrong this time for choosing Hotel New Mamta. We checked in on 5th July 2019 evening just after we finished Amarnath Yatra. We were tired as hell and I booked two Standard rooms for next three nights (never do that). As soon as we entered the reception area, there was a manager with a warm smile and he mentioned that they were going to upgrade it to Deluxe as a COMPLIMENTARY from his side. We didn't demand them or he didn't even care to show us standard rooms. While booking standard room, breakfast and one meal was complimentary. However, when we asked for it, they clearly denied saying that we have provided you with DELUXE room so no complimentary breakfast or meal. I would like to bring this to the knowledge of so called THE MANAGER, that by providing DELUXE room as complimentary, my original booking remains valid. Otherwise, don't call it complimentary. As I mentioned we were really tired and had no energy to argue. We moved to our DELUXE rooms. First thing we noticed, wall clock was not working, fused bulb was lying on floor. Standard of bathroom wasn't even comparable to any lodge. Walls were fixed or whatever with plastic sheets in patches. Dirty toilet and dismantled wash-basin. No complimentary mineral water. Geezer was working well and we took hot shower and relaxed. Turned on TV and it wasn't recharged. Even after complaining, no action was taken. Then we called to reception for dinner and he transferred our call to restaurant. Whoever was that person, I would like to give him a piece of etiquette, next time, when you talk to your customer and if they ask you something....at least have some decency to reply with humbleness if you cannot provide that service in room. They take 15 minutes to half n hour even to provide you with menu card or water refilling service. Very cold and unfriendly environment. I am just giving it 2 stars for good food and nice hot water. Apart from it, I would not recommend you this hotel. And don't fall for the trap of upgrading your rooms. Better stick to your original booking.…
A cosy, warm hotel (I meant the staff actually) on your budget. The manager Mr. Sahil was really well behaved and cordial. As we were alone (two girls), we felt it was safe. Thumbs to these warm people 👍☺️
We stayed at Hotel New Mamta, Srinagar from 14 June to 16 June. Staff is quite non co operative.We were given blood stained quilts. In my parents room the bedsheet was torn.When we complained they refused to attend.Plz see the pictures of blood stained quilts.Cost was too high.
Visited in March 2016. We stayed there for 5 days. Hotel is located in center of the Srinagar. Ambiance was good. And the staffs are also friendly. Rooms were maintained clean. Food was tasty and healthy too. My advice is to avoid south -Indian items. Walk able distance to the lake by which we can spend some calm time. Overall experience was above average.
I stay there with my wife. Room was very good.. And all staff and hotel owner was of very good nature. Nice service . I can say this is one of the best hotel. If I will come here again ..will stay in this hotel...
The location is just walking distance from Dallake.The room is just good for family.The staffs also very good.Only prolem is the food available on ly veg.But no problem as there are no. Of good resturants nearby.We enjoyed the stay very much.
