I spent 3 days with Firdaus House Boat. Amazing hospitality. Great food and neatness. The brothers who own this boat, made us feel like a family. They guided us well with better understanding of the region and places to visit. They made all the arrangements for us from cab travel to sikhara ride to everything. This was my second stay in Firdous Houseboat, the first being in 2018 wherein I had stayed along with my daughter. The very fact that I came back a second time to stay in Firdous itself suggests I find it very comfortable and homely. Ashik takes a lot of trouble in ensuring that our stay is comfortable and there is a personal touch in everything. He is very friendly and easy to have a conversation with. I strongly recommend Firdous for any and every type of traveler.

Staying in Houseboat was one of my dreams. Well, when I visited kashmir in Dec 2021, my dream came true when we were told that we would be staying for a day in Houseboat. We stayed in Firdous Houseboat. Simply beautiful, I felt like a princess. This Houseboat is beautiful, clean, hygienic and very spacious. Great view and rooms. The owner also cooperative. There were heating issues. They charged rupees 500/night for heater. Must visit the houseboat as it's a whole new experience to wake up to the view of dal lake!

When my trip advisor suggested this place, I thought it would be a normal houseboat stay like you find in Kashmir. But Aashiq bhai and team made sure we had the best 2 days in houseboat. Every member of the staff helped us on required occasions. The time commitment is second to none.
