This hotel is a decent hotel (given its pricing and location). the rooms are hygenic and well spaced. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The restaurant is spacious as well and the buffet spread is pretty good (both dinner and breakfast).

Hotel grand mamta is one of the best hotels in srinagar, here hospitality with staff behaviour is awesome, especially I want to tell about jubair ji, from booking to check out he helped me so much, I didn't feel that I am away from me home, he make me feel like I am in my home and safe, he is so helpful in nature,everything here from cleanliness to food, yeah food's taste is beyond imaginazation, I will visit this hotel for sure in future and contact to jubair ji for planning. Positives of this property is the room size and comfortable bed. However, the staffs here don't know the meaning of hospitality generally you expect from 4 to 5 star hotel staff. Food in the restaurant is very average. This property is 5 to 6 kms from Dal Lake (boulevard road). I'm really surprised to see how this hotel is 4 star without having necessary attributes. Free WiFi is available but it hardly works as the speed is worst and disconnects frequently. I really don't recommend you to stay here.

Heater was not working in the room. Bathroom faucet was replaced with a odd size and water kept pouring on the faucet and not to your hands. Room service was horrible. Menu items were not available. What's available took more than hours to come. And they serve item by item and have to repeatedly call them.
