Very clean room, bedsheets and blankets, even with good furniture and decoration (I mention this because I found this not common at all in India). The house has a terrasse and garden, as well as balconies with view over the quite village and to the mountains. The family is super nice, and the dinner is just mind blowing delicious! I felt very relaxed and welcomed here, especially I enjoyed the chats with Mushtaq who lived in Sweden for many years (I guess that is why he has such great experiences for western standard hospitality). Only few kilometer from the house you can visit the gardens on the east side of the Dal lake. Thanks and see you again next time!

As long you have Shuja your business will collapse. in our last night stay on about 01.30 am shuja entered my friend (girl) rooms. can u imagine it? a man entered girl room and want to do negative activities on 1.30 am? it was such a nighmare stay in your guesthouse. all of us cant sleep. since that time we would like to check out as fast as possible. also riding horse charge in Pahalgham was so expensive 2.000 inr/person i saw the price of riding horse in Pahalgham 500-750inr/person. beside Shuja attitude i love Mr. Musthaq and his wife services the foods was very delicious it was our best foods during our india trip. the rooms are clean and cozy. i wish dilaram all the very best and good luck

This is a beautiful home, very near Dal Lake and Nishat gardens. The owner Mr Mushtaq and his wife are wonderful hosts. The home is set amidst the backdrops of mountains. Wi Fi is available at reasonable speed. Cable TV is a big bother, so the owner has decided to shift to Tata Sky from Jun 2016 onwards. A very neat and clean home. The best part is the wonderful hospitality displayed by the owner, Mushtaq and his wife.

Dil aram Guest House felt like visiting a family home with perks! The place is not on the main road so one does not hear vehicular traffic at all. It is a the base of a tiny mountain so you have a great view of the lush green mountains all around. The entire property is carpeted inside. The interior is cozy and warm without feeling cluttered. The rooms on the first floor are big with large windows and feel very open. The beds and the bathrooms are clean. The owner and his wife are very warm people and make you feel welcome. The meals we had at the guest house were simple home cooked affair with lots of flavour. If you like no-vegetarian food, I would recommend you to ask Mr. Mushtaq (the owner) to organise a Wazwan meal for you especially if you are a party of more than two people. It is worth it. If you are someone who likes the peace and quiet of the valley and also going on the road less traveled, then Dil aram is the place for you!!

This is indeed a beautiful home in a lovely setting and Mushtaq is a very nice and helpful man. However, it is very cold so come prepared. Not a place to stay if you want to relax in your room with a good book.

This is a very nice place to stay in a calm and quiet locality which is also very close to Dal Lake and just 5 mins drive to Nishat Bag. The owner, Mr. Mushtak stays in the same property with his family. He is very gentle and helpful. Rooms are quite spacious and neat & clean with cozy beds. We took 3 double bed rooms during our stay from 19th to 22nd Oct'15. The premise has a small lawn; so you can enjoy your tea or breakfast in the sun. We were offered KAWA (local tea) by Mr. Mushtak and we loved the taste of the same. We will surely visit again if will go to Srinagar.

Location is quite and safe. Wifi is very slow. Power shut down at 6:00~7:00 and 18:00~19:00. Owner is very nice and the home made food is tasty. Pay 2000 rupes for one day(around 6 hours) for car delivery to several view points. Pay 2000 rupes from Srinagar to Gulmarg. Above service is provided by the guest house owner.

We stayed here for 2 days. It is walkable distance(1Km) from Nishant garden. View from this property is also good. One side of this property is hill and so the view is very good. Worth to the cost. They need to improve their staff's neatness. Also they need to take care of food serve. They will not ask "do you want some more" or "anything more". After serving all food in table, they will abscond. Guest need to call them from kitchen to get more.
