The hotel staff is very cooperative and helpful. They always greet you with a smile. The food in the restaurant is top notch and would like to give special mention to Mr Altaf Sir. He is very kind and helpful. He gave some great recommendations about food.

We booked this hotel fr 12-13 Dec and 15-17 Dec22 for senior citizens. The heater wasn’t working on 12th and after full day discussion with them they shifted us to a different room at night 10pm citing it to be technical issue and assuring us that we won’t face this issue again. On 16th, we faced the same issue again and the heater started at 11pm. We had early morning flight and requested for packed breakfast at 6.30am. They gave us raw sandwiches which they had packed previous night itself. This caused severe food poisoning to my mother. We regret booking this hotel

My family visited this hotel for the second time yesterday 16th Dec. on our way from Delhi to Gulmarg we spent two days here. We did not have any issue. However when we checked in yesterday at 2pm from Gulmarg there was no power in the hotel. So we had to walk three floors to the suite room we booked. We immediately complained that the heater was not working. Many workers kept coming into the room but no success. Finally we got a small heater(picture attached) in the size of a multimedia projector to heat up a suite. We wanted another one but they kept saying ok but it never arrived. Hot water has timings. So if you check in at 2pm you can’t use the toilet and shower till 7pm. Because they only switch on the heater at 6pm and by the time you get warm water it’s 7pm. Not kids friendly at all. Attitude of staff is terrible. WiFi does not work well. Only works in rooms and that too when other rooms are occupied the speed is terrible. Food is good. No issues here. Check out the instruction on the water Geezer. (Picture attached). I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for family with kids.…

We stayed here for 4 days 3 nights and it was absolutely a wonderful experience. The hotel staff including the house keeping and receptionist are really helpful and nice. We have lost our passport at one of the gardens during local sightseeing and when we informed the hotel staff, the receptionist was quick enough to spread this on social media and with the help of tourist police, we found our passport on the same day within 3 hours. The rooms are really clean and quite comfortable. Will surely recommend the hotel.

hotel and staff is good, location is 3km away from Dal so you won't get any lake view, breakfast included which is ok in taste, i included buffet dinner which was very basic same taste & same items repeat only color changes (my opinion don't include dinner try to explore out or al carte ), rooms heated well, service is fast in room, local sight seeing nearby in range of 12Km, airport 23Km. a great deal in terms of money. family hotel very safe, totally occupied you can see lot of guests around

Our stay at Hotel Grand Mahal Srinagar was amazing. The suite room was extraordinary with beautiful interior wooden work and extra large space in it. The hotel staff was very kind and supportive. To be specially mentioned Riyaz from Housekeeping and restaurant staff were there on the toes to help us whenever asked for.

Booked 9 rooms for my guests. I really want to leave a 1 start because there was a guy on reservation Mr. Nasir who completely misbehaved with me also with my guests when i went inside the hotel he didn't allow me he say you can't come inside the hotel and i said you can call my guests and tell them one of your travel agent is here to meet you but he was saying i am not going to do it i will not allow you inside the hotel and when i call my guests they come to meet me and that time Mr. Nasir did same with my guets and he used the abuse language with my guests and when i tell him i will complaint you he said just do it i am owner of this property. But only for one person i will not leave you one star my guests get the very good experience of Kashmir trip and they also liked the property and service of the hotel.…
