I have been visiting this property from last three years . My recent stay was two weeks back . Very helping people around. I used to check in late night . They always did good as much they can do . Definitely they provide what they charge .

Booked The Renaissance Hotel after reading good reviews on tripadvisor and we stayed in July 2018. It was quite a disappointed with the stay however only thing we liked was that it was near to Famous Veg Hotel Krishna Vaishno Dhaba and was situated in a secured area in Srinagar. However note that traffic tends to pile up most of the time where the hotel is situated. Pros ------- Clean though not satisfied. 1 km is Famous Veg Hotel Krishna Vaishno Dhaba Cons ------- Everything is not FREE here. No 24hrs Hot Water No Dental Kit No Complimentary Water Bottle Very Old Hotel TV has TATA Sky DTH however only a basic TV Subscription Basic Cost Cutting Hotel Sober Lighting at Rooms Free Wifi Signal available only at lobby Bed provided for 3rd person which we had paid was of third class quality and more than that it Didn't look clean at all.…

It is an average property in Sonwar area. Location is safe and close to Army cantonment area. Rooms are okay with basic facilities. Lights are so dim in room. They should think about to improve lights. Nice people in reception and house keeping.

We were in Kashmir last month and stayed at the Rennaisance for almost a week. Inspite of the media hype - we were completely secured and did not feel unsafe for even a second ! Right from the start, our trip was (touchwood) perfect and till date the most amazing trip we ever had. We were picked from the airport and on arrival were greated with the traditional Kashmiri 'Kehwa' and 'Bakirkhani - Shirmail' in the lovely hotel garden surrounded by mountains and clear blue sky. The view from the hotel room was indeed breathtaking and one cannot miss seeing the Shankaracharya temple with sunlight beaming behind. The hotel rooms are big and clean. The hospitality of the entire team was overwhelming. The service of the staff was extremely quick and responsive (even at odd hours). And inspite of not having a scheduled itinerary - the managers were helpful not just in sharing the must visits spots but also organising and making arrangements for the same. What was even was more amazing was that the hotel owner got personally involved and made sure that everything from our stay, food and visits to Pahlgam - Gulmarg were properly organised ,comfortable and well accomodated . I would rate my stay at the Rennaisance a 5 star and recommend everyone to stay here! Thank you Mr. Bakshi and team for a great trip and we look forward to our next visit. All the Best !…
