The moment you drive in to this grand hotel it gives you a feel of being a dynasty , it's very royal and palatial . Nazira was extremely polite and warm she helped us with our check-in . We opted for a break fast and dinner package food was ok , not as per my expectations . Overall I would say experience it if you like the feel of living in a palace .
Excellent stay at srinagar. Good hospitality and food. Elegant decor with an old world charm. Very polite and helpful staff. Would specially like to mention mr Ankush who was a great help in making our stay comfortable
Worst Hotel Worst Staff Worst Experience No no no, dont ever come here for a stay as they would make you feel like a stranger in your own country. Even after paying more than 21000 per night for room tariff expect an uncleaned room, dirty toilet, very arrogant staff who would refuse to serve tea. In the restaurant items like risotto, caviar and a few others including sprite we asked weren't available so we basically you can ONLY order what the server recommends. On top of that the general manager ashish nehra doesn’t care to respond to calls of general guests as he’s busy making arrangements for only high profile guest from spicejet. Next time for me i would like to donate the money rather than spoil your holiday knowingly .. !!
We stayed at Lalit Grand Palace for 2 nights and our experience was very poor. The property itself is nice but the service & food were abysmal. There was no one at the Room Service to take our calls and we had to constantly call reception to connect us. The food quality was terrible with many items on the menu not available. Some of the food we ordered was missing many of the ingredients & garnishes although we were charged full price for everything. The bar did not have enough drinks and everything took ages to be made. Overall staff seemed to suffer from lack of proper training. Covid norms were not followed properly as many staff members were not wearing masks while speaking with customers and sanitizer bottles were often empty. Service levels are so high that at the price Lalit is charging its customers, this level of service & poor food quality is not acceptable. Lalit must raise their standards of service if they are to compete with the likes of Taj, Oberoi or Leela. We will not be staying at Lalit Srinagar again. We have been advised to choose Taj instead for our next trip.…
We stayed here only one night (I wish it was longer) the view and the property without a doubt are stunning. Had a special flag hoisting on Republic Day. Ankush Kohli, the head of security was especially kind and arranged the needful. All staff was very kind and we felt extremely welcomed. Highly recommend this wonderful property opposite the dal lake.
