Our experience in this houseboat was amazing. Imran and his family were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone coming to live at Dal Lake. They also made Aloo Ki Sabzi specially for us and it was very tasty and full of love. The location is very peaceful, away from all the noise and it serves as a perfect location to relax for a few days. We also got to see the market that happens on the lake from this houseboat which definitely speaks about the authenticity of this property. Imran was a great host in all aspects, he assured we had everything we needed in regards to groceries, entertainment and other items. This is definitely a place where I would go again and I would recommend to all my friends and family to visit the same. Cheers

I had an enchanting stay on a houseboat in Srinagar. The beautiful decor with Persian rugs and carved wood created a warm ambiance. Spacious rooms offered stunning lake views, and the hosts provided exceptional hospitality with delicious meals. We enjoyed shikara rides and visits to Mughal gardens, fully experiencing Srinagar's culture. Highly recommended for a unique and relaxing escape.

It was a good experience for us. Our host Mr imran zaindari was very good on catering to our needs. The houseboat was located at a perfect location and was very peaceful. Overall a good stay. Just that there are light issues. There was a power cut off for more than 3 hours and the mosquitos could trouble you.

I have never seen such a wonderful hospitality. Our flight got canceled and they took care of all necessary things for next day flight. During our stay it was like we staying in our home. It is must stay at this house boat to experience the excellent hospitality. Also they have knowledge of whole beautiful places in Shrinagar and not one place disappointed us. Excellent Guide and Host. Stay at this place is Value for money too.

This is the last boat on the list. Sitting outside the window with a view of the lake and mountains, Kashmiri tea is the best. It is away from the busy area and has only two guest rooms for quiet. At my time there were no other vacationers, so it was reserved.
Be careful if you leave the windows and doors open, as in addition to mosquitoes, cats will come in and steal, and people selling small items and fake jewelry will come in.

The Owner is very helpful and reliable. He was a Guide throughout my stay and taught me a lot about the land. They also introduce you to many of their specialties and make you eat them, but you should be aware that dinner is always prepared even after you leave after filling up with snacks. There was no additional charge for the Guide or tip requested at all. Of course there are inconveniences unique to houseboating, but I think that is one of the things to look forward to. You can talk to the Owner about anything you have trouble with.
