Gulzaar ji , and his son Nasir, manage this homestay . They go out of their way to help their guests. I got good advice on Old Kashmir must visit points . I am an ardent admirer of Indian art and craft and wanted to pick specific papier mache pieces. He personally accompanied me to one such shop and needless to say, I shopped to my heart's content. He also helped me source authentic Kashmir almonds . Another noble gesture that I want to highlight is that they accommodated our request for specific food as my mother was fasting on that particular day. Our stay here was pleasant. Do not expect hotel level facilities as it is a home stay. But do expect friendly, homely atmosphere and a comfortable stay. Not to forget, vegetarian dinner served here is delicious. Also , do have a look at Gulzaar ji 's collection of beautiful Kani pieces . A big thumbs up!…
Had been there for 3 nights from 11 Apr 22. In my life never had such an amazing stay any where in India. They treat us not like coustomers but like family members. Hospitality was at its peak. Food quality was excellent... Especially chicken curry. Special thanks to Mr. Abid (manager) for making our holidays greatest.
A very cozy place to stay. Loved the ambience the moment we entered the property. It’s like a home stay converted into a hotel so you won’t find the typical commercial dining area or restaurant at the premises. It’s a 2 floor villa with 4 rooms on each floor. The owner Nasir & his father were very warm & welcoming. You can definitely consider this property which is a lil away from the whole chaotic dal lake area, but still this property over looks the lake ….. The rooms are absolutely cozy & has 24hr hot water supply. Over all we had a lovely memorable stay.
Their facilities are just ok .we payed 3500 around per night and it is not worth it. Room no 202 has a bathroom door which is angled towards window and you have to squeeze into the bathroom .if you get the room at 1500-2000 or something, u might feel OK. But I would not suggest this place . It is more of a home stay but not worth the price I paid and the actual room is not at all good as it looks in pic. Dinner have to be booked in advance before 3PM. No much places around to get food and it becomes difficult.
We had a wonderful week staying with Nasir and his family in their beautiful antique looking castle. The room on the first floor where we stayed is homey and the dining area with its arc windows is one of the most amazing. Our two dogs also enjoyed very much their stay, and of course they enjoyed also very much the Kashmir mutton haha! On the top of everything, Nasir is a very kind and helpful gentleman, and we are really missing the time we spent at his place. 🌺
We had a great time in kashmir, thanks to our stay at Hillscape Inn. The hosts are warm people and helped us throughout our stay. Tha place is a nice cozy villa with great prestine views. Had a bonfire in the evenings in which we had a lot of fun with friends. The dal lake and mughal gardens are walking distance away.
We had an awesome time at Hillscape Inn. We booked the whole villa. We were about 15-16 friends. The location is nice and attractions and other good places are located nearby. Food was very fresh and tasty. The villa is very cozy and rooms are spacious and comfy.
We traveled to Srinagar in October. We stayed at Hillscape Inn for 4 nights. We had a lovely stay. The staff is very courteous and very attentive. Great service. The location is closeby the Mughal gardens and dal lake. The rooms are comfy and spacious. The breakfast was also good.
We , a group of 25 members stayed here for 2 days and it was ok. First, Nasir and his staffs were very helpful and attentive. Location - It is located a little outside the Srinagar city but in the middle of many other local residents.... resort is surrounded by full of local residents. Resort / Rooms - All the rooms are very average. Its a budget resort so that is how it will be I guess. We were disappointed that the rooms did not have a centralized heater and it was very cold (around 1/2* C). Many of my friends were not able to manage... they only had 1 gas burga per floor and it was not at all enough for our group. Another disappointment was food... Food was not served on time and we did not have proper food since it was not served on time. for 2 days. (Dinner and breakfast) . We requested for barbecue and that was also avg only. Nasir and his staffs are good and has the intention to serve better as a host but needs to improve the above ...…
Staying at Hillscape Inn was an absolute delight. We were about 10-15 friends travelling to kashmir. We stayed for three nights. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Ample heating facilities were given. The staff is very polite and helpful. The location is very scenic and beautiful.
