We booked this Hotel for two days, coz we found it really beautiful in pictures and the reviews were good as well. And it really matched our expectations. The vibe is great inside the property. The interiors are amazingly beautiful. They really put efforts to keep the place shine everytime. The location is right in the centre of the city where you can enjoy local street food outside. Must say, the Onwer cum MD cum Executive Chef, Mr Usman and manager - Mr Arshid made sure that we enjoy the food and stay as much as possible. All the dishes we had left us with Mmmmm... The Staff will really make you feel special all the time. It was great staying here. A memorable one. :)

Hotel is new and clean. Hands down Food is just yummmm.Little Persia u deserve the best compliments ever! We were not looking for view rooms as in Srinagar u roam outside most of the time. We were looking for stay and good food. I am a vegetarian and my husband is a non vegetarian. I had never expected i would get such mouth watering veg food in Srinagar! Staff is just awesome. The only suggestion i would give is plz allot the room as soon as guests arrive as they are already tired. Paper work took alot of time. Other than that Thank you for the best service!😇

We were a group of 6 Families (14 adult members) and we stayed in Hotel Downtown for 3 days on 26th, 27th and 31st March 2024. This hotel was suggested by our travel agent as one of the best 4 star hotels in Srinagar. It’s a beautiful 2.5 star bouquet hotel with nice interiors and ambiance. This hotel is in a small lane right off the main road. Rooms are very Congested and there is no great view from rooms because of hotel location. Bathroom needs renovation and improvement with better toiletries in terms of quality. Because of centralized cooling system, the ac cooling was off for all rooms inspite of hot weather. The housekeeping and room service was very slow. Our group package was inclusive of breakfast and dinner. There were very less options for breakfast and dinner and quality of food served was not good. The Check in procedure was time consuming despite of advance booking done 3 months in advance. We got all our six rooms neither on same floor or nearby inspite of our pre advance booking. There should be some indoor facilities like Gymnasium and Swimming Pool, that were missing as it was 4* rated. This hotel was most disappointing during our entire trip of Kashmir.

Very average experience. We had to call housekeeping every 10 mins for something or other. Jet spray was leaking, that got fixed, then the flush broke down, that got fixed, then we realised that TV remotes were missing from the room. Then hot water took 10 mins. The staff is responsive, but the fact that the room was in such a state when we checked in, is very disappointing.

I have stayed for total of 4 nights in 2 parts as part of our Kashmir trip with the family. The hotel is recently built so the rooms are very nice infact they will give you a feel of a decent 4-5 star property. The sleep quality is good.
The major challenge with the hotel is lack of adequate staff. Very slow room service, mostly non existent house keeping staff. You have to always call reception and push hard for small things like extra blanket or any needs. The service level is between 2-3 star hotel.
Food is major disaster. The breakfast menu is very limited and the staff as well. The dinner is average. The staff is so busy that they can not give you water in your room. Funny enough, if you order a non bottled water, they will pour in your kettle and do not have water jugs in room.
Overall, you can go for this hotel but do not expect a 4 star service. You can expect 4 star room and amenity though.

Very nice hotel nicely decorated food is awesome excellent taste service was good restaurant decorated in Persian style good service nice and clean rooms overall good stay nice ambience Went with friends on 3rd of April 2021 displayed photos shows the beauty of Kashmir Loved it had a nice stay recommended for stay. U can choose this hotel without second thoughts . Mr Arshad was very helpful and nice.

3 nights stay at Hotel Down Town could have been much better but very poorly managed and stinky washroom ruined that ruined all pleasant experience. Otherwise hotel staffs, restaurant, securities, ambiance all met the expectations. Hotel authority should really look into this and I gave my feedback at the checkouts.
