The Shelter Group of Houseboats is only houseboats in valley knows how important the sense of security and safety is to all its guests. Hence, a special effort is made at all our houseboats to ensure that guest security and the houseboats security takes precedence over any other objective.The Lal Mandi Road is security patrolled by security guards and all emergency plans well in place. The houseboats is located in high security zone and shares the VIP road and political residence on another side of the shore, both well guarded by BSF.

It's best place for stay in Srinagar. The arranged our trip at reasonable cost . The host is amazing helped us arranging transport, food , activities and The view from was amazing. None of houseboat at Srinagar having this view which shelter houseboat have. Thank for making our trip memorable

I and my 4 friends have visited Kashmir on first week of June, 2019. The Shelter Group of Houseboats welcomed us perfectly, even we have come in small group. The owners arranged trip smoothly and gave us nice information about places and activities. About this houseboat we have stayed, it's “just walk distance” from Lal Chowk Market and Polo View Rd., nice location but not noisy. Great services and facilities. Clean room with attached bathroom. And, I like the morning atmosphere of Jhelum River with birds and ducks, too.

It's was amazing stay for us here. The houseboat is great interior Kashmir decoration. The services which they provided was excellent everything was well organised. We have no issue by using their services. The staff was extremely helpful.

I came to srinagar without any knowledge and just done the booking online went directly their. This is only houseboat centrally located just 10 minutes walk from lal chowk. The host is amazing they provided all the facility which we need. Thanks for arranging the trip.

This is my second time visiting Kashmir and I stay at this hotel, the owner was very kind and he arrange everything well for us, the food is very good feel like home. The price is good for me as well. I recommend every who visiting Kashmir to stay here.

I plan to travel to Kashmir for long time and read a lot if review ,finally i choose " The shelter group of house boat " to arrange my 4 nights 5 days in Kashmir. Mr. Aijaz is very friendly and helpful I ask him so many and he never get bored to answer me . the trip was so smooth I stay 2 night in hotel and 2 night in houseboat , Hotel is very clean and peaceful but little bit far from market (in case if u wanna walk to market ) food are delicious so don't worry about food i'm sure you gonna love it ! one problem for me is in the hotel is cold for me ^_^ the driver Mr. Gulam is very kind and drive safely he teach me how to avoid those cheating people and how much should tips . that very helpful. I visit this houseboats 2nd time. First came August along with my friend. And this time we was group of 7 just stay 1 night in srinagar and remaining nights we stay at gulmarg. During winter the weather is very cold but they provided excellent arrangements for heating. Electric heater and room arrangements was great. Food was home made and very delicious. Thanks for great stay 2nd time.
